Blessed is the man who doesn't walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the way of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers; But his delight is in Yahweh's law; On his law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, That brings forth its fruit in its se...

When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, "Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean." Jesus stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, "I want to. Be made clean." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Matthew 8...

Let God Sort Them Out

  • And Agrippa said to Paul, In a short time would you persuade me to be a Christian? Acts 26:28 ESV

I was in awe of power of the Holy Spirit as I saw this hardened drug dealer begin to weep. He was a friend whose life had gone the other way. One day I was going to town and he wanted to come, so I brought him along. As we drove down the highway, I began to tell him about some scripture that I had been studying recently and how it fascinated me.

At first he just laughed it off and said a few mocking things, like You dont really believe that stuff do you? But soon the Holy Spirit settled over him and he became shaky and scared. If he could have gotten out of the car, he would have, but today I was driving. He stared out of the passenger side window for a while and when he looked back at me, he was in tears.

Here we were with the Holy Spirit loving this guy who had never given Him a positive thought. He did drugs, sold drugs, stole things, and nothing really seemed beneath him. God loved him and was reaching out to draw him into the flock that day.

We should reach out to the lost wherever, and whoever they may be. Be a friend to those that need one, because they will not listen to an enemy. Also, dont try and correct the problems in people's lives. Lead them to Jesus first and He will take care of the rest. Paul witnessed to everyone around him. Some were saved, some were not. His goal was to save everyone and let God sort them out. We should do the same.

Kathy Banfield
Kathy Banfield God bless you  for such  promising words!1Spoken like only a Spirit-led person can, your words give me  hope for my ex husband and mother, father, sister and uncle. At one time or another, each of the aforementioned ridiculed me because of my faith. My parents actually believe the opposite is  true  of me--my mother even  wanted a Catholic  priest to perform an exorcism  on me back  in1974,  when Linda  Blair's "Regan"was popular!  (*The priest denied  to  do so, thankfully)  Now,  my ex insists the Bible is all "fairy tales." He  becomes  VERY angry when I calmly suggest that maybe He (my ex) is wrong! That's  one reason  we divorced in the first  place. All I can do is continue  praying for Bob.

Jenifer Titus
Jenifer Titus Good morning, this word is on time, I spend a couple hours with two friends last night and just before reading this devotion I wanted to know how to handle ministering to them without causing them to pull away from me, I  got the answer. Thank you. I look forward everyday to this devotion. God bless.

Carol Pady
Carol Pady I have learned to pray more and speak less. No one is forced into accepting Christ. God has to bring that person to the point of acceptance. I  am willing to share about Jesus if that person is open to listening. In close relationships it is more difficult to speak without the other person becoming angry and or defensive. This is when prayer is more effective to softening their hearts towards the Lord.

Amanda Malloy
Amanda Malloy Yes! This so true! As a recovering drug addict/alcoholic myself, I can completely identify with your friend. I had turned from God around 13 yrs old and went to live life my way. Needless to say, that didn't work out the way I planned. God sought me out, right where I was, through a friend of mine from HS. They didn't try to force me to do or believe anything, they just loved me for who I am in Christ. They showed me by their actions a better way to live. I will have 5yrs clean and sober June 7 of this year. God continues to show me His grace and mercy each and every day! Thank you Jesus for pulling me out of the miry clay!!

Christina Ocasio Yesssss. ..this hits close to home, confirmed something I was feeling in my heart, and God moved me to drop a seed of my experince on how Jesus has touched my heart to a couple of old friends that needed it last nite, and that he handles the rest. It's a beautiful feeling to share the love of God with others and how God moves and uses the most unlikely people to share his goodness..it's all about Jesus!! ♡

Daryl Page
Daryl Page I had a shirt designed a few years back that fits well with this message Pastor D. It reads God is my pilot Jesus is my co pilot the Holy Spirit is my navigator and I'm just the passenger. They lead me to where they want me to be and pull over. I get out speak THEIR words if there's something more I must do I listen and follow THEIR direction Then when I'm finished I get back in the perverbal Glory TRAIN and the four of us head out to my next Devine appointment. We must know our part. I can do nothing on my own but if stay connected to the vine much fruit can me produced  One Love. LOG (Love Of God). PD

Patty Martin
Patty Martin I am so happy to see this message posted.  Many years ago, I was that person who was not ready to be saved.  My belief was that I had to give up all of the worldly things that I "thought" I was enjoying.  I kept putting off living my life for Jesus.  I often wonder how many blessings I ignored because of the things I chose to do with my life.  I prayed to Jesus and knew about him, but I didn't truly know him.  In 2002, the Holy Spirit began to work within me and I no longer resisted.  My niece, Tina led me to a church that taught me what I couldn't understand on my own when reading scripture.  I began to hunger for knowledge of God and His son.  I began to talk to God, talk to Jesus, talk to the Holy Spirit, asking for guidance, strength, and endurance.  Suddenly, all of those worldly things slowly exited my life and I no longer wanted them.  Today, I am a different person...a true child of God.  I plant the seed in the lost, share my testimony, invite them to church, and let God do the rest.  When we live for Christ, many times others will see his light shine within us and they will eventually want what we have that glows within us.  Glory to God for second chances and for loving us enough to wait for us.

Patty Martin
Patty Martin When I invited the Holy Spirit to work in my life (2002), I noticed that my marriage began to suffer.  In July of 2003, we separated after 24 yrs. of marriage.  Many attacks from the enemy began to take place in my life but my pastor assured me that if I stayed strong in my faith, God would see me through.  I tried to "fix" my marriage seven times, taking my ex back, being a better wife, sharing scripture with him...but he chose to live his life his way (alcohol, bars, drugs, and other women) and I chose to stay true to Jesus.  We are now friends and I'm watching his life change little by little, for the best.  He is still an alcoholic and lives with another woman, but I keep praying for his salvation.  I know there is a battle going on between him, our Father in Heaven, and satan.  Although my life was turned upside down and I didn't know how I could live without my husband, Jesus led the way.  I'm doing wonderfully now and God kept His promises.
