In the fourth watch of the night, Jesus came to them, walking on the sea. When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It's a ghost!" and they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying "Cheer up! I AM! Don't be afraid." Peter answered him and said...

Anchor of the Soul from Refreshing Hope Ministries on Vimeo. When people lose hope, they lie down and die. They lose the will to live and fight any longer. Hopelessness is utter despair, the belief that nothing good will happen. When you begin to think like this, it will bring a desire to die. A ...

The Pharisees and the scribes asked him, "Why don't your disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?" The Last Minute

  • He waited seven days, the time appointed by Samuel. But Samuel did not come to Gilgal, and the people were scattering from him. So Saul said, 'Bring the burnt offering here to me, and the peace offerings.' And he offered the burnt offering. As soon as he had finished offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came. 1 Samuel 13:8 ESV

Samuel had told Saul to meet him at Gilgal and that he would make an offering and tell Saul what he must do in the coming battle. Saul waited the seven days but when his army started to scatter, he panicked and made the offering himself. Of course, as soon as Saul finished his offering Samuel showed up.

When the deadline starts approaching we often start sweating, panicking, what are we going to do? Where is God? They say God is never late but He also is not early. He arrives right on time. We are the ones that start to waver, and it is usually right before God shows up.

Do not give up yet. God's help and provision for you is closer than ever. Often we find that when we reach the end of our rope, that God is there to catch us. To us, it seems like the very last minute.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that You help me to hang on, draw me to You and give me a clear vision. Change my heart and cause me to trust in You, in the name of Jesus I pray.

Amen! God does not live on our time, the Bible says He is able to see in both the past as well as the future. He lives in today just like we do, but on His own time scedual. Let Him finish what He started.
