For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won't prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won't delay. Habakkuk 2:3 WEB.About thirty-five years ago, the Lord gave me a word that I would pioneer new things in ministry and fo...

The king talked with them; and among them all was found no one like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. Therefore stood they before the king. In every matter of wisdom and understanding concerning which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchante...

If you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances, "Don't handle, nor taste, nor touch" (all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men? These things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imp...

Everlasting Love

  • Yahweh appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you. Jeremiah 31:3 WEB

So many times in my life, I have felt that I let God down, failed Him, and then just stopped trying. "What was the use" I thought. I was a failure and He was disappointed in me anyway. Like a puppy with his tail between his legs, I would sulk and walk away. Sometimes a month would go by before I even spoke to Him again.

When I finally came to my senses, saw the light, and had an 'I was blind, but now I see' moment, He was always there waiting with open arms. Just as the prodigal son that came to his senses and went back home to his father, so was I, and so was He. The moment that I changed my attitude, accepted that the past was unchangeable, He was ready to get back to work. It was always an 'OK, now let's go' conversation.

God is not concerned about our past. He is concerned with what is left of our future, and making every moment of our life count. We are here for only a brief moment in time and if we really understood that, most of us would live it differently. We try and build things here that will last forever, when everything around us is temporary.

He draws us to Himself with loving kindness and His love for us is everlasting. Nothing that you can do, or have done, will change His love for you. On the other hand, can you discipline a child and still love them? Absolutely. Jesus said: 'Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.' (Revelation 3:19). Paul wrote that God's kindness is intended to lead you to repentance (Romans 2:4).

Our past life may have some dark spots, but He will never turn away from us. He will always love us and when we ask, He will gladly forgive us and restore us, for His love is everlasting. He has a plan and a purpose for your life, and you were put here for such a time as this, so make it count.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your everlasting love. Thank You for accepting me just as I am and washing me as white as snow. Cleanse me, use me, guide me today, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Note: Good morning! We will be continuing to the next chapter of our online Bible Study tomorrow morning, but for those who would like to catch up, here is the link to all of the chapters. You are welcome to start any time :)! Bible Study

Satan is a liar and he will always try to tell us about our past sins and failures. He knows if he can make us feel broken, ashamed and unforgiven that we will become useless for serving our Abba Father. This is why we need to take captive every thought, because when we hear the thoughts that speak to us negatively and cause us to think we are too sinful, too weak to be a true follower of Jesus, these are lies, from the king of lies. Jesus will never forsake us, we are His and He will never reject us or take away our salvation. God loves us as much as He loves Jesus and that is what we need to remind ourselves of every time something negative speaks to us, we must say, I rebuke you satan, I am a child of the living God, who adores me and I will spend eternity giving Him glory!
