Though I walk in the middle of trouble, you will revive me. You will stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies. Your right hand will save me. Yahweh will fulfill that which concerns me; your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Don't forsake the works of your own hands. Psalm 138:7 ...

Jesus Loves Me, This I Know

  • And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood Rev. 1:5 ESV

Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so; Little ones to Him belong. They are weak, but He is strong. Many of us learned these words when we were kids. So simple and yet so long forgotten. It is so easy to stray from this one simple fact that the entire Christian walk is based on and then slip into a life of cold legalism.

Jesus loves us so much that He shed His own blood to pay for our sins on the cross at Calvary. He died for us and He has already paid for all of the sins that I have done, and all of the sins that our children will commit in the future if we will let Him. We simply ask for His forgiveness and then try to not do it again. Sure you should try and live right. Jesus said that if you love Me, you will keep My commandments (John 14:15). One of His commandments was to love one another (John 13:34). If you do this one right, you will fulfill the rest of them.

Today you may have many problems, but a sin problem is not one of them. Not being loved by Him is not one of them. Accept the fact that Jesus loves you. Accept His forgiveness when you make mistakes, because forgiveness is for you as well. Accept Jesus, we are weak, but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me and yes, I will love others.

Kathy Banfield I think once you confess your sins and accept Jesus into your life, it becomes  impossible to sin--that's what happened when I finally renounced ALL forms of bulimia (including exercise bulimia, which often goes undetected) I never wanted to sin again.Cursing, however, is a different matter altogether, and sometimes I wonder if Jesus cursed when He entered that temple and overturned the tables.Surely, he must have been livid!

Rich Morgan
Rich Morgan Last night's service picked up on Jesus love for others - especially Judas.  Jesus knew what was going to happen yet he still washed Judas' feet, and in John's gospel we read of Jesus giving Judas the dipped bread - a sign of honour.  It is easy to love friends, but we are asked to love everyone, even those who betray, who hurt.  Just as Jesus showed us.

Susan Helms What an awesome feeling it is to know that Jesus loves us no matter what.  I am so grateful for the Holy Spirit who brings my failings to the surface to enable me to ask for forgiveness.  His Spirit convicts me immediately -- not later.  Thank you Father for giving Jesus to us and for His faithfulness even to the Cross.   May we never lose sight of the one who died for us so that we might share eternity with Him.

Nell Neathery A.B.C.= 1) Accept Jesus.  2) Believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit; 3) Confess sins and ask for forgiveness.  I accept Him into my life every day because I believe in the Holy Trinity, and I know he forgives me of my sins.  Yes, Jesus does love me, and He shows me how to love others through His great and perfect love.

Karen Pasquinelli
Karen Pasquinelli I know Jesus does love me and I am so thankful for his love.  He is teaching me now to love the person but hate the sin.  I have a hard time with people who do cruel things such as, beat animals, children, rape, murder, etc.  I find myself saying "I am sorry God it is the sin I hate not the person."  I am doing better with it little by little.

Allie Ponzo I can completely understand and agree with you, hurting innocent animals and children just brings me to tears thinking about. If I saw something like that happening I would defiantly take action though, in some way.

Allie Ponzo Yes! I so appreciate the conviction of the Holy Spirit, it lets me know my heart is not hardened to the things that I should not be doing or should be doing. When I first got saved I prayed that I would always be convicted and to hate what God hates and love what He loves. I fail for sure but I have always felt convicted…lol. I get better as the years go by.

Cheryl Hepler I was thinking about....Let All the children come unto me.  Some Christians sound hard, cold, and yet speak of Him.  I pray they will return to the basics.  It is sad to me.  Very grateful for the Father sharing a piece of His heart with us...His Son:)

Anibal Perez
Anibal Perez Amen Good morning God bless you Pastor and all my brothers and sister this morning. The word this morning is al so true, the problem here is that people know Jesus loves, them no matter what. True but he does not like the sin we live in. Salvation is individual to us, we are weak but through Jesus all things are possibly. The key word here is in John 14:15. If WE love Jesus We Will KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. Something we do not do. I know it is not easy there are some that try really hard God bless you abundantly for that, but there are those who lives life as they want to knowing God still loves them. That is where there salvation is at risk. We have to remember that temptation does not come to you if you/ we cannot handle it. That is our justifiable God. Glory be to God and may the Lord give strength to those who are weak and conviction to those who do not live according to Hos commandments in Jesus name Amen. God bless you all.
