Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. 1 Peter 4:12 ESVI have a testimony that I share sometimes where the Lord gave me a horrible job in a plant polishing brass and sweeping the floor. Within a year, I was the manager and everyone that worked there was saved. When I went to church, I filled my entire row with guests. The pastor loved me. If I had not lost my previous job I would not have this testimony.
Unless a test comes, there is no testimony. Testimony, witness, a matter of fact, are things that come from our experience. These are the things you can stand on when the going gets tough. Things that you hear from others help, but the things that you have lived are your testimony and will help you, and others.
When you look at what Jesus has already brought you through, you know that He will bring you through this as well. Just as David killed the lion, the bear and was now ready for Goliath, the Lord will turn your test into a testimony. The things that you now suffer will work out for your own good in due time.

This is good. When I was 18 years old, I am now 36. I went to a party with a friend, and someone at the party poured PCP in my drink. I was really messed up in the head. I hallucinate one-day during that time and I tried to commit suicide. I took a steak knife from the kitchen and I slit my wrist and I stabbed myself 12 times. The drug was so strong that I was out of mind and wanted to end my life. I spent 5 weeks in the hospital. My mom told me after I recovered that I had a testimony to tell. I often asked God Why me. I was hanging around the wrong crowd. I wrote a book two years ago called Maddy's I am Here the Memoirs of Madalyn. In my book I talk about the incident. My mom told me when she was living that I would tell the whole world what happened to me. My mom was right. I tell that story in my book. I believe like my mom said that, that is a testimony to help someone else. Even though my life was hard I am still here in the land of living. I believe that God can do anything. He saved me, and I am alive to tell my story. May God bless you all and Thank You for praying for me.
Thankful that the Lord has helped you through that, Madalyn, what an ordeal ;(!
Amen!

Hi everyone...I need support and prayers. I have been subscribed to the ministry emails since 2012-13 before the name changed to Refreshing Hope. Its at this time that I feel like this is something that I have had that I have oftentime overlooked and need to pay more attention to, so I will begin doing that. I am in a winter and sowing season I feel like in my life and appreciate fellowship and prayer I'm pretty isolated. Thank you.
Hi Chantelle, thank you for connecting with us :)! Praying with you and for you <3!
