Blessed is the man who doesn't walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the way of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers; But his delight is in Yahweh's law; On his law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, That brings forth its fruit in its se...

When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, "Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean." Jesus stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, "I want to. Be made clean." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Matthew 8...

Vineyards

  • For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who was the master of a household, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. Matthew 20:1 WEB

Vineyards that produce some of the best wine, limit the water to the plants in order to make their roots go deeper into the soil. The resulting grapes are small, but intensely flavorful. The crop yields less, but the fruit quality is superior. This is why some areas become known for their wine, their perfect climate and terroir.

The grape vines that have had to drill deep into the earth for water become heartier and more stable. Their supporting root system runs deep, and they are not easily uprooted by winds. If it does not rain for a while, they are already prepared for it. They remain stable through out the seasons because of their deep roots.

Vines that have been flooded with all the water they could want, sit right on top of the ground with a shallow root system. A few days without water and they will begin to dry up. A light wind or tug can uproot the plant entirely. The fruit that they produce can be large, but often bland and watery.

The Lord knows how to tend His vineyard, and quality is more important to Him than quantity. He provides what we need to bring forth the best fruit in our lives. That means that He is not going to flood us with all that we desire, as that would make us produce shallow roots and we would wither at the first sign of adversity.

It is not always easy. Sometimes we feel like we do not have enough, but there is a purpose behind it. You may feel that you are in a spiritual draught today and think that God has forgotten you, but He has not. He knows what is needed to produce the correct fruit and you already have it in your life. Stop worrying about what you don't have, and realign your priorities with your mission here.

Prayer: Heavenly Father You know my needs before I ask them. I trust You to provide for me and cause me to prosper in what You give me to do. Help me bring forth spiritual fruit in my life, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Prayer: Heavenly Father You know my needs before I ask them. I trust You to provide for me and cause me to prosper in what You give me to do. Help me bring forth spiritual fruit in my life, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Yes please I do trust you are working everything out , Father, please help my unbelief.....Help me to stop expecting from other's what I would give ....Help me to except the help available without expecting more just because they are my children. Help me to be at peace with where I am until you prosper us once again. Help my husband be well enough to work and bless him with something he is able to do. Thank you for all that you have graced us with and thank you for providing for our needs... we do have a roof over us and I do appreciate that more than I show. Help me to be kind to the people that I love instead of angry, offended, or hostile. These people are my family and even if I'd like to feel like less of an inconvience, I do appreciate that they help at all. PLease help me to see the light at the end of this tunnel and focus on your daily blessings that I know are already there for us In the name of Jesus Amen

In my experience every time when I have suffered adversity, trials, storms, illness, pain, and grief, when He seemed so distant, as I cried out to Him in my times of distress, as I read and studied His Word and clung to His promises, He enabled me to finish strong. He took all the weakness in me and He set it upon a solid foundation, so that when the winds blow and batter me, I will stand firm. All of the fiery darts that the enemy sent against me, did not make me lose my faith, they strengthened it as it was stretched to amazing proportions. Stretched yes, but not ripped or torn, not shredded but stretched to hold more of His mighty Holy Spirit power, so I can rejoice in Him as new storms come and sing His praises as trials besiege me, knowing that He will never forsake me, He will never abandon me, He will always defend me and always rescue me, for I am His child!
