Yahweh spoke to Manasseh, and to his people; but they didn't listen. Therefore Yahweh brought on them the captains of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh in chains, bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon. When he was in distress, he begged Yahweh his God, and humbled himse...

RHM Devotional: Anxiety from Refreshing Hope Ministries on Vimeo. Today I want to talk about something that is plaguing so many people today: anxiety. It is a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about something with an uncertain outcome. It has always been a problem, Jesus spoke ...

Your word is a lamp to my feet, And a light for my path. Psalms 119:105 WEBThe old oil lamps that were used in biblical times had a small radius of light. They would light the path just a few feet ahead of you, and you could not see very far down the road. When traveling by night, you could see just...

  • He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them' He remains faithful forever. Psalms 146:6 NIV

Looking back over my life, I now see things that the Lord told me twenty-five years ago coming to pass. Things that I had put on the shelf, thinking that perhaps I had missed Him in some way, I am now living. There were a few times that I was convinced that I had ruined His plans for me. I went through a divorce, I had seasons of temper tantrums and bad attitudes after the death of a child. I was always happy to have His blessings, but things needed to go my way or I would pout.

Yes, looking back I am half ashamed of my walk. I had been an impetuous child, but I am still here and God is faithful. Through all of my mistakes, times where I knew it was wrong but did it anyway, God has been steady, unchanging and faithful. When I began to feel alone, it was always me that had once again wandered off, and He was always there when I would fall on the carpet and return in prayer.

Hang on to God. The things that the Lord has promised you in your heart will come to pass. When you fall, get up and try it again. God understands, He loves you and He has a plan for your life. Don't throw in the towel yet and don't give up on Him. Though you cannot see it coming and have almost forgotten, it will still arrive at the proper time. He will faithfully complete the work that He has begun in you.

Prayer: Father, complete your work in me and mold me into the vessel you desire, in the name of Jesus.

Amen. Thank you Pastor for sharing. Like Pastor Greg says, "the church should be full of broken people not perfect people."

Amen. We being imperfect have trouble forgiving our backslidings, but Abba Father never does. He is always willing to forgive His wayward child.

At this moment in time I see a verse given long ago concerning my children. Jer 31:15. Bring them bk fr the enemy.  I watch my grown son nowv going to council about his borderline personality disorder and narcissism did oi riders.  He is on med & he is apologizing to his x my daughter in law with my two Grandgirls.  The church is in GA where he works.  My concern is how my daughter in law is moving back there now with the girls.  It is because of the one girl in particular is emotionally dealing now.  All seems to quick when my son told her a year he needs to work on himself and no together.  As he moves fast and all is in God's hands what will be.  I T is in prayer from our end a lot.  We have Grandgirls here for last weekend.
