I love those who love Me. Those who seek me diligently will find Me. Proverbs 8:17 WEB
I came out of my prayer room that morning feeling like I was walking on a cloud, with tears of joy in my eyes. If you would have told me that the world was getting ready to explode, I would have said, 'Let 'er blow!', because I truly did not have a care in the world. An hour earlier, I felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulders and I had too many problems to even start the day. I did not even want to get out of bed, but just wanted to just roll over and cover my head with a pillow.
Scripture reads: "You shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart' (Jeremiah 29:13). 'But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul' (Deuteronomy 4:29). So I say to you: 'Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you' (Luke 11:9).
When you spend quiet time with the Lord, He will reveal new things to you, and take worrisome things off of you. Jesus sometimes spent all night in prayer, alone (Luke 6:12). I know that Hebrews 13:5 tells us that 'He will never leave nor forsake you' and that is true, but there is a whole new level of living when you actively seek Him out. There is a level of joy, peace, love, and trust that nothing on earth can give you except the Lord's presence. True happiness is not found anywhere else.
I encourage you today to stir up your relationship and actively pursue the Lord Jesus. Spend some quiet time talking with Him and invite the Holy Spirit to help you. Read or listen to the Bible for a while after praying. Building your relationship with Him is the ultimate pursuit of happiness.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that you draw my heart to You. Make what is important to You, important to me and let me see through Your eyes. Remove the things that hold me back, give me a clear vision, and a gentle push to get started. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
Note: Good morning! For those who did not receive the email, the message for this Sunday''s service will be called "What Time Is it?" and will be a study of current events as they relate to the end times. We believe this will be a message of hope, and pray that you will join us on Sunday at 11am EST. To join, just go to the Watch page on the site menu. We will be gathering about 15 minutes beforehand for fellowship.

I find that when I set aside time. away from all distractions, to just meditate on Jesus and to seek him with all my heart, that He comes in like a flood of living water. I don't need to to be reading the Bible, praying or listening to worship music. I just need to be still in the quiet and seek Him. These times are so sweet and precious to me. These times I almost always find myself weeping from the overwhelming feeling of His love and compassion upon me. Just me and the one who sticks closer than a brother, my King of Kings, my Lord of Lords, my Amighty Savior, my best friend.
