Yahweh opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, "What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?" Balaam said to the donkey, "Because you have mocked me, I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would have killed you." The donkey said to Balaam, "Am I not yo...

Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of his chariots, saying, "Don't fight with small nor great, except only with the king of Israel." When the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, "It is the king of Israel!" Therefore they turned around to fight against him. But Jehoshap...

Unfulfilled Bible Prophecies

  • Unfulfilled Bible Prophecies from Jim Jarrell on Vimeo.

For a while now I have heard a lot of church people say that all prophecy in the Bible has been fulfilled and it is time for Jesus to come back. I would love for the rapture of the church to happen right now, but I do not think so. Not all the prophecy written in the Bible has happened yet. The Bible says in 2nd Corinthians 13:1; “This is the third time I am coming to you. Every fact is to be confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses.” By this statement, the Apostle Paul made it clear how prophesy is to be confirmed. Now lets see what the Bible says!

The Apostle Paul told this to the Thessalonian people who thought Jesus had already come back in order for them not to be shaken. 2nd Thessalonians 2:3&4; “Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.” If one looks up the word used for apostasy in the Strong’s concordance you will find it under the number 646 (apostasia), and is translated as the forsaking, or the falling away. Remember, the Bibles says in 2nd Corinthians 13:1 that it takes two or three witnesses for prophecy to be established, so what else does the Bible say?

The Bible also says in 2nd Peter 3:3-9; “Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts and saying, where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation. For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. But the present heavens and earth by His word are being preserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. The Apostle Peter was in Jesus’s inner circle and heard what Jesus said more than most. So what did Jesus say about this?

Jesus told His apostles many things during His time on the earth. In Matthew 24:3&4 the Bible says; “And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and the end of the age? And Jesus answered and said to them, See to it that no one misleads you.” Jesus told them many things, but in Matthew 24:10 He says: “And at that time many will fall away and deliver up one another and hate one another. I would say that these three witnesses had a pretty good idea of what they were saying. Please notice that Jesus said at that time many would fall away.

I do not believe most of this prophecy has happened yet, which is what led me to say, I do not think so. I do believe this has begun. I have spent a lot of time on social media talking with those who call themselves atheists. Many of them say they were believers, but they have left the church for many reasons. I found this statement on www.christiantoday.com, it says: “This year, church bodies reporting the highest membership losses were the Presbyterian Church (USA), down 3.28 percent to 2,941,412; American Baptist Churches in the USA, down 2 percent to 1,358,351; and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, down 1.92 percent to 4,709,956 members.” With all those members the falling away has only started. I hope by this message going out more people will understand.

My goal is to see as few fall away as is humanly possible. I do not understand all of what the Bible says, but like Peter the Apostle, I would like to see all come to repentance. Thank you all for your time, I will see you again!
