Do not let the devil steal your crown through a contrary gospel. Don't be deceived by the interpretations of men.
You must understand the revelation of your own cross through the death of self if you desire to be seated on the throne of the overcomer.
Scriptures that reveal that we must allow the Spirit of God to crucify our old earthly fleshly carnal Adam through the TEMPLE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
The revelation of the ministry of the blessed God the inner transformation also through the renewing of the mind and how we need a total inner healing and renewal of the wounded damaged SOUL - THE MIND, WILL, and HUMAN EMOTIONS.
The carnal mind stands in complete enmity against God when we are first rescued out of the kingdom of darkness. Our inner man is completely poisoned and broken and influenced by the prince of the power of the air that reigns out of the realm of the flesh.
Ephesians 2:2 In which in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our behavior in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Through a Spiritual renewal, regeneration and transformation work done in us by the Spirit of the Lord, our natural minds becomes renewed to be brought into agreement with the mind of Jesus Christ (THE WORD OF GOD)
Our wounded emotions undergo Holy Spirit surgery, cleansing, healing and deliverance to be brought into agreement with the fruits and attributes of the Holy Spirit which are - love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control.
Our rebellious fleshly will becomes redeemed through the purchasing power of the righteous blood of Jesus to be brought into agreement with the will of God.
We need the process of sanctification, regeneration, and renewal because we are called to become one with God in VISION, DESIRE, and PURPOSE.
We cannot live in the destructive rebellion of the fallen nature any longer because as we read in Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.8 For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
We all as children of the kingdom are given the chance and opportunity by the Father to sow to the Spirit because the desired outcome is a bountiful harvest of righteousness and good fruit.
These scriptures that reveal that we all are commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ to deny ourselves, take up the cross and follow Him. This is the only way by which the disciple can produce the fruits of righteousness which speak of Christ-likeness. To follow Jesus is to become like Jesus. To preach any other gospel is to speak deception and people who have led others astray shall surely give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
Now watch how Christ through the NEW COMMANDMENT which He gave in the following chapter of the Bible instructs His followers to follow His example through the death of a personal cross. God reveals to us that the love of God can only be made perfect in the life of the disciple when we, in fact, lay down our lives for one another.
Any other gospel contrary to the pattern revealed in the life of Jesus Christ is anti-Christ and must be exposed and denounced because Satan hates the love of God because it's that love that destroyed his kingdom through the death of Jesus Christ.
When I asked the Father in prayer what His most powerful weapon is against, the devil, He showed me His Son on the cross and declared "MY LOVE! THROUGH A DEMONSTRATION OF MY CONQUERING LOVE I DESTROYED THE WHOLE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS"
As followers of Christ Jesus, we are called to do the same by answering and obeying the New Commandment that was given to us by Jesus Christ the Son of God. In the kingdom of God love is not spoken, it is demonstrated.
Remember what we said, as followers of Christ, we sow, what we desire to reap and we reap what we sow. We all as children of the kingdom are given the chance and opportunity by the Father to sow to the Spirit because the desired outcome is a bountiful harvest of righteousness and good fruit.
Your personal cross revealed in John 15
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine dresser.
2 Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he prunes it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in me.
5 I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.
6 If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples.
9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue you in my love.
10 If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Our personal cross revealed in 2 Corinthians 5: 14 For the love of Christ constrains us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15 And that he died for all, that they who live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto Him who died for them, and rose again.
Our personal cross revealed in Romans 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if you live after the flesh, you shall die: but if you through the Spirit do put to death the deeds of the body, you shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, so that we may be also glorified together.
How can people claim to be crucified with Jesus by faith without the actual experience of the cross? How can people claim to be crucified by faith with Jesus when the word of God so evidently instructs us that the old man and the works of the flesh are not automatically crucified by faith but rather MUST BE PUT TO DEATH BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD.
Faith without works is dead my friend which means in the account of your personal cross that if you claim to believe in the finished work of the cross of Christ you will yield yourself then to the truth of the gospel by allowing the Spirit of God to crucify the old man which is corrupted according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that you put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. (Ephesians 4:17-24). If what you speak is not a demonstrated reality in your life to which you can testify then my friend you are a false witness.
Our personal cross revealed in
1 Peter 4
1 Since therefore Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin;
2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
3 For the time past of our life will suffice us to have done the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in licentiousness, lusts, excess of wine, revealing, carousing, and abominable idolatries:
4 In which they think it strange that you run not with them to the same excess of dissipation, speaking evil of you:
5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the living and the dead.
Undergoing the fire baptism of the Holy Spirit through the circumcision of a personal cross causes suffering because to be taken by the Lord to the end of yourself through the royal road of self-denial is not pleasant because God progressively strips us of the things that cause spiritual death.
It is a great deception to say that the doctrine of the need to die to self, puts the focus on self because it's completely scriptural and actually increases our need to only focus on the Lord and put our complete trust in Him to be faithful to complete the work of the cross in all of us.
1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Faithful is he that calls you, who also will do it.
Jesus said in Mark 8:34 Whosoever will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
Any form of self-denial causes suffering and afflicts the soul because we are in a spiritual struggle.
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would.
Paul bemoans this battle in Romans 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 For that which I do I know not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me.
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwells no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that which I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
The man was born into the slavery of the sinful nature of the flesh and the moment that the kingdom of God enters our lives through the incorruptible seed of the word of God we find ourselves engaged in the spiritual conflict between Spirit and flesh.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places.
We are called to overcome by allowing the Holy Spirit to put do death the deceitful lusts which war against our soul. Yes it's a very real battle but we are thankful because through the finished work of the cross of Christ we can all be brought into His freedom and victory as He declared in John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
We overcome as we yield ourselves to the circumcision wrought for us by the Spirit of God. This circumcision of the cross has to do with the progressive cutting away of that which is earthly, sensual, sinful, fleshly, carnal and devilish. It is a supernatural mind and heart surgery done to us by the Great Physician, the Lord himself by which the Spirit of God works change, transformation, inner healing and deliverance on the inside to bring us into an agreement with Himself.
Behold the awesome victory that God works into us through the experience of a personal cross in Colossians 2:10 And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power:
11 In whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12 Buried with Him in baptism, in which also you are risen with Him through the faith of the working of God, who has raised Him from the dead.
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has he made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
So we see how the kingdom of darkness is defeated in us as we yield ourselves to the circumcision and the work of the cross.
Now consider the price Jesus had to pay and the pathway He had to take to be raised up by the Father into that place of honor and victory. Remember what He says in Revelation 3: 21 To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with Me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and sat down with My Father in His throne.
Philippians 2
1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affections and mercies,
2 Fulfill you my joy, that you be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
3 Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.
4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not a thing to be grasped to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Therefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
