    Amen!! Thank you for this awesome message today! It is so amazing and so true! God has spoken to me many times in my life and directed my path. He has sent people into my life to tell me about jobs, houses, churches and people to assist me with things I needed to do like sell my house. He even showed me who the buyers were for our house, in the moment that I was talking to this lady about our house, the Lord told me, " This is your buyer" I was amazing and immediately believed it. He also told me that they would submit an offer within 3 days which they did, but the offer was not good so I became depressed and worried about it. I prayed and God told me" Keep your eyes on me for I can do all things, let Me handle this!"  I said , " Okay, Lord I know you can do this!" They were our buyers and we sold us house and the loan closed in 30 days. Thank you Pastor Dion for all the time you spend on this devotions, God is blessing you!!

    Amen!! Thank you for this awesome message today! It is so amazing and so true! God has spoken to me many times in my life and directed my path. He has sent people into my life to tell me about jobs, houses, churches and people to assist me with things I needed to do like sell my house.     One of my absolute favorite Bible verses is, Proverbs 3.5 - 6 , " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding ; in all your ways acknowlege Him and He shall direct your paths." The Lord asks that we trust Him with our very life, with every aspect of our lives. He wants  to be involved in even the smallest details of our life. He wants us to acknowledge Him in all  we do and say. and to lean on Him. So many times we think we know how to handle a situation but often times we are wrong and things dont go the way we planned. Only God knows exactly what we need at every minute. He can bless you in so many ways that you cannot even begin to imagine. Give God your whole heart and keep Him in everything you do and you will see blessings upon blessing showered on you. God delights in us and wants to be part of our lives. Always consult God before you make a decision about anything He will direct your path and He will give you a clear answer to which way you should go. Father God I thank you for Refreshing Hope Ministries that you guided me to find. Bless Pastor Dion and Sylvia in all that they do. Bless everyone that is a part of Refreshing Hope Ministries and reveal yourself to them. In the name of Jesus I pray!

What a timely message especially for me, Pastor Dion, thank you so much !!!  I used to work in a bank for almost 27 years, doing very well, including salary wise, etc... But then disease struck like a sludge hammer overseas, my Mom had Non-Hodgkins, Parkinson's and finally Parkinson's Dementia, all that in addition to respiratory problems, heart and blood pressure! My Dad was the primary caregiver, and there were all three of my siblings there as well. My sister has MS, and my brothers decided that my Mom should go into a home. I retired from the bank, so I'd have more time to spend overseas to help, etc... Going back and forth was a task, my family here understood that I was needed over there and supported me. My Dad had gotten Colo-Rectal cancer in the meanwhile ... My Mom passed away in the year 2013! My whole outlook had changed in the meantime, and all I can see is the Lord's hand in this directing my path. Obviously I did not return to the world of banking, which seemed foreign to me at that point. And I eventually ended up in the field of Home Health Care, which has become my mission. I can see how the Lord directs my path and leads me to all the right people, where I can be myself and work out my faith, so others can see Christ in me. It was and is a very humbling experience, but also so rewarding and fullfilling, and I know that this is where the Lord wants me to be!!! And all I want to be is in His will!!!

    Very good sermon as usual.  I always learn something new and feel renewed after reading and/or listening to you.  I was never taught that the Holy Spirit died after the last Apostle died....I have always thought and believed that the Holy Sprit surrounds us and is in us.  What I found interesting was that you called him "he".  In all my years, I never thought of the Holy Spirit as a he/she ....I always felt it was a Spirit...part of God.  The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  

    
    

    Again, I learned something new.  I never knew people were taught and believed that the Spirit died with the last disciple.  Wow! Thank you.

    
    

     

    
    

    And, yes, let the Holy Spirit flow through all of us here on Earth.  We need to hear and feel ....

But this I pray not just for me, but also for all my loved ones far and near, for we do not know the day and the hour that You oh Lord will require us to stand before Thee, in the holy name of Jesus, Amen!   My father-in-law broke his neck, he's 99, and a very stubborn man, very hard to talk to in regards to the Lord most high, and I believe still unsaved. he's in ICU! My mother-in-law is 98. She is pratically deaf and beside herself! His name is Ernest Karnatz and he name is Jean Karnatz! Please pray that my father-in-law would heed the call and listen to the Holy Spirit and submit, and lift ip my mother-in-law as well! Thank you!

In case it doesn't link, you can also find it under "Pastor's Corner". One thing, on survival, obviously, we have not died from fasting, so there is that . I remember one time we were watching some "survival" type show, where a couple had only been without food for the afternoon and were already complaining about how hungry they were. Perhaps we in the "first world" make a bit much about how much we really need . In any case, there is much Biblical precedent, including Jesus, for the power of fasting, so it's down to a matter of whether we choose, or not, to step out in faith .
