I LIVE RIGHT THERE PT #1
THIS IS ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE CIRCUMSTANCES I HAVE TO REMIND ANYONE NOT TO DO THIS BUT RATHER LEARN WHAT NOT TO DO. JUST BECAUSE IT TURNED OUT OK AT THAT MOMENT DOESNT MEAN GOD WAS BLESSING ME. MORE LIKELY SAVING ME SO I COULD FOR-FILL MY CALLING. OF COURSE I KNEW AT THIS TIME IN MY LIFE I WAS TO BE A PASTOR. THE EVANGELIST I HAD NO IDEA THAT WAS IN THE EQUATION.
THAT BEING SAID HAS TO DO WITH MY LIFE AS A DRUG DEALER. THIS PARTICULAR NIGHT AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE IDK IF PAID ATTENTION TO THE DAYS. HOWEVER THIS IS IN MY LAST SIX MONTHS OF DEALING. MY WORLD WAS ALREADY CRASHING IN ON ME BUT I DIDNT CARE. I STILL HAD $50,000 TO KEEP ME HAPPY. AT THIS TIME IM INTO FEW THINGS THAT WOULD HAVE LANDED ME IN A STATE PEN. I DO KNOW IT WAS AFTER MIDNIGHT WHEN I STARTED OUT TO DO MY RUN.
I HAVE A SET PATH I TOOK EVERY TIME. SOMETHING MOST TIMES IS NEVER A GOOD IDEA IN MY WORLD. YET THIS ROUTE I COULD SEE ANYTHING THAT WOULD BE PROBLEMATIC AND HAD A SECONDARY PLAN. IT WAS A HALF HOUR TO MY CONNECTION. OFTEN ID HANG THERE FOR HALF HOUR OR MORE. THIS NIGHT IT WAS PRETTY QUICK. MY BOY HAD SWEETENED THE OPPORTUNITY FOR ME. SO I WOULD BE CARRYING NUFF WEIGHT AND MERCHANDISE THAT I DO NOT PASS GO. I GO STRAIGHT TO JAIL WITHOUT A GET OUT FREE CARD. SEE WHAT I DID THERE INTRODUCED MY FAVORITE GAME MONOPOLY IN THE NARRATIVE.
THE MOST DANGEROUS PART OF THIS TRIP IS GETTING OUT OF THE COMPLEX AND FIVE MORE MINUTES TO GET OUT OF THE TOWN. THEN IT WAS ALL MAJOR ROADS TO MY EXIT. THEN ANOTHER MAJOR ROAD THAT TRAVELS MOST OF UPSTATE NY. NEEDLESS TO SAY JUST GETTING TO MY TRUCK WAS NERVE RACKING. AS I GET TO MY TRUCK PUT IN THE CASSETTE TAPE. I HAD NO SPEED ODOMETER SO I HAD A SONGS THAT WOULD ALLOW ME TO KNOW APPROXIMATELY HOW FAST I WAS GOING. ANOTHER THING YOU DO NOT WANT IS A TRUCK THAT YOU CAN NOT TELL YOUR SPEED. AS I GOT CLOSE TO MY EXIT I SEE POLICE LIGHTS COMING BEHIND ME.
I KNOW I DID NOT PASS ONE SO I WAS PRETTY SURE I WAS NOT WHAT HE WANTED. AS I EXPECTED HE FLEW BY ME. HOWEVER GOT OFF ON MY EXIT. THERES NOT MUCH OUT THERE AND I AM NOW TEN MINUTES FROM HOME. I REMEMBER BEING RELIEVED HE PAST ME. YET WAS LAUGHING THAT IF THEY WERE RAIDING MY HOUSE THEY JUST PASSED THEIR TARGET. THAT LAUGH WOULD SOON DISAPPEAR.
AS I COME UP TO MAKE THE TURN OFF THE SECONDARY ROAD TO MY ROAD TO MY HOUSE I REALIZE MY WHOLE VALLEY WAS LIT UP WITH POLICE LIGHTS. MIND YOU THIS HOUSE I FOUND SPECIFICALLY FOR IT SECLUSION. THERE ARE ONLY THREE HOUSES DOWN THERE. ONE THE BIGGEST CAR DEALER IN CENTRAL NY MY NEIGHBOR WHOS NEVER THERE N MY HOUSE. IVE ALREADY MADE THE TURN AND SEE THAT TWO HUNDRED YARDS THEY HAVE THE ROAD BLOCKED. I CAN NOT TURN AROUND AS THAT WOULD DRAW ATTENTION BESIDES I AM RUNNING ON EMPTY. IF THEY ARE AT MY HOUSE MY NIGHT JUST GOT REAL COMPLICATED. IF THERE NOT AT MY HOUSE THEN I CANT HAVE THEM LOOK INTO MY TRUCK.
THIS IS ONE OF THOSE TIMES. YOUR ALL IN CUS YOUR ALL THE WAY IN. I HAD NOW A CAR BEHIND ME A THREE IN FRONT OF ME. I KNOW I HAVE TO GO TO HIM. I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO GET OUT OF THE TRUCK. BUT I CANT RUN OUT OF GAS EITHER. THAT WOULD BE PRETTY BIG ISSUE IF I WAS NOT ALREADY GONE UP STREAM. LAST THING I NEED IS POLICE ALL OVER MY TRUCK. ITS NOW AFTER 1:30 SO THERES NOT LOT OF REASONS WHY ONE NEEEDS TO BE OUT AND A GREAT REASON TO PULL YOU OVER. THIS TIME ID BE SITTING THERE. I LOOK UP AND THE ONE OF THE OFFICERS STARTS WALKING MY WAY. SO THIS IS IT. I HAVE TO GET OUT TO MEET HIM BEFORE HE GETS TO ME. MY LIFE IS BOUT TO BE ROCKED IF I….

LAWS OF PHYSICS
THIS IS SOMETHING THAT JUST RECENTLY HAPPENED,ACTUALLY THIS PAST FRIDAY. I ONLY THOUGHT OF THIS PART OF THE POST YESTERDAY. I HAVE NEVER DONE PICTURES WITH MY POSTS. MANY I CAN NOT GIVE PICS TO. IM NOT POSITIVE I WILL THIS TIME EITHER. SO WITHOUT FURTHER FAN FAIR LET ME TELL YOU HOW THE LAWS OF PHYSICS KICKED IN FRIDAY
I AM A DIABETIC TYPE 2. IVE NOT TAKEN MEDICATION YET AS IVE DONE PRETTY WELL WITH EXERCISE AND TRY TO EAT BETTER. THE OTHER UP SIDE TO EXERCISE IS IT WILL GIVE ME MORE YEARS TO SPEND WITH MY WIFE AND SERVE THE LORD.
I HAVE A SMALL GYM IN MY GARAGE. HOWEVER TO GET THE BEST OUT OF MY WORKOUT ONE SHOULD GET THEIR CARDIO UP. MOST TIME I DO NOT PIT MUCH EFFORT INTO THAT PART. THE HIGHER CARDIO BURNS FAT OFF DURING YOUR WORKOUT. HOWEVER I USED DO JOG BUT I DID NOT KEEP WITH IT I JUST KINDA LET IT GO. IT TAKES A CERTAIN DISCIPLINE TO DO LONG DISTANCE RUNNING. I WAS ALWAYS BUILT FOR SPEED. ONE THING I LIKE TO DO IS WIND SPRINTS. WHEN I WAS IN THIRD GRADE I WAS THE FASTEST KID IN THE SCHOOL. BY MY EARLY 20 I COULD RUN A 4.3 40 yard dash. THATS PRETTY FAST. DOING WIND SPRINTS SEEMED A BETTER FIT FOR ME. I AM NO WHERE NEAR AS FAST. YET WAY FASTER THEN I SHOULD BE AT MY LACK OF YOUTH. USUALLY I WILL DO THESE WIND SPRINTS ON THE SIDEWALK OTHER TIMES IF THERE ARE NO CARS I USE THE MEDIUM. VERY SELDOM DO I USE THE STREET.
OUR STREETS ARE VERY CROWNED TO DRAW THE RAIN OFF THE ROAD. WE OFTEN GET FEW SHOWERS A DAY ESPECIALLY THIS TIME YEAR. LAST FRIDAY THERE WERE CARS ON THE MEDIUM. ALSO THERE WAS ONE CAR PARKED ON THE SIDEWALK. SO THE ROAD IT WAS. I HAD DONE A FEW EAZY WIND SPRINTS. AFTER THREE OR FOUR I STARTED TO RUN FOR SPEED. THIS WAS CLOSE TO 11:00pm. NO ONE ACTUALLY KNEW I WAS WORKING OUT. MY WIFE WAS SICK IN BED SLEEPING. THIS WAS MY FIRST CHANCE TO WORKOUT. I TELL YOU THIS CUS GOD STEPPED IN FEW TIMES FRIDAY NIGHT.
SO HERES WHERE THE LAWS OF PHYSICS AND MY WORLD COLIDE. THAT WAS THE PERFECT WORD FOR WHAT HAPPENED NEXT. WHEN YOU DO WIND SPRINTS AS THEY DO IN TRACK N FIELD. YOUR FIRST TWO/FIVE STEPS YOU ACTUALLY ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE OFF BALANCE FORWARD LEANING. DURING THOSE FIRST STEPS THE OBJECT IS TO CATCH YOUR BALANCE AND THEN USE THAT MOMENTUM TO BUILD UP YOUR SPEED.
NOW MY ONLY POTENTIAL PROBLEM WAS THAT CROWN. HOWEVER I HAD NOT REALLY PUT THAT IN MY CALCULUS. BTW PHYSICS N CALCULUS I DID NOT TAKE IN SCHOOL. TWO CLASSES THAT MAY HAVE BENEFITED ME FRIDAY NIGHT.OH HECK IT WAS NOT GONNA HELP ME ANYWAY WE ALL KNOW THAT. THATS WHY GOD IS CONSTANTLY STEPPING IN MY LIFE TO INTERVENE ON MY BEHALF.
OK THE STAGE IS SET. I DO EVERYTHING JUST AS I SHOULD. BUT BY MY SIX OR SEVENTH STEP IM IN BETWEEN RUNNING FASTER TO CATCH MY BALANCE AS I REALIZE I AM NOT GOING TO DO SO, AND KNOW IM GOING TO TAKE A NOSE DIVE. MY ONLY QUESTION NOW WHERE AND HOW HARD I WILL HIT. LASTLY WHAT WAS GOING TO BREAK. FOR SURE THIS WAS GOING TO BE PAINFUL. THIS WAS NOT MY FIRST FALL YET BECAUSE OF THE TUMBLING EXERCISES I PICKED UP AS A KID IN SCHOOL I WAS ALWAYS ABLE TO CONTROL AT LEAST SOME OF THE FALL. THIS TIME I HAD KNOW PLACE TO TUCK N ROLL. I HAD REACHED BOUT TEN YARDS WHEN IT WAS EVIDENT I WAS NOT GOING TO CATCH MY BALANCE. THEREFORE I HAVE NO CONTROL OF THIS OUT COME. I REMEMBER THE FIRST INITIAL PAIN BUT THEN EVERYTHING WENT DARK. IT WAS NOT FOR MORE THEN FIVE SECONDS. I WOKE UP TO GODS FIRST INTERVENTION MY NEIGHBOR WHOM IVE NEVER MEANT, THEY HAVE BEEN THERE FOR YEAR OR MORE. I FOUND OUT HIS NAME WAS KEVIN. KEVIN YELLS ACROSS THE STREET HEY YOU ALRIGHT. I DID NOT ANSWER AT FIRST AS I WAS JUST TRYING TO PREPARE FOR WHAT MAY BE BROKE AND THE PAIN THAT WAS ABOU TO COME ONCE THE ADRENALINE WORE OFF. I DID MAKE IT TO MY FEET. NOTHING WAS BROKE. BY THEN KEVIN IS THERE.
HE HELPS ME TO GET STABLE ON MY FEET. HE THEN TAKES PICTURES OF MY HRAD. APPARENTLY I LANDED ON MY LEFT SHOULDER BUT WAS NOT ABLE TO ROLL AND MY LEFT SIDE OF MY HEAD. I COULD FEEL THE BLOOD RUNNING DOWN MY FACE. WE TALKED A FEW MINUETS. ACTUALLY INTRODUCED OURSELVES TO EACH OTHER. HE WALKS ME TO MY HOUSE. IF KEVIN WOULD NOT BEEN THERE IDK HOW IT WOULD HAVE BEEN. HE SAID HE HEARD ME HIT THE CAR. MY OTHER NEIGHBOR BILLY N BETH.
AFTER I SAW THE PICTURES I REALIZED I WAS A LITTLE MORE BANGED UP THEN I WAS ABLE TO FIX. MY WIFE IS SICK IN BED FOR THREE DAYS NOW AND WOULD ONLY GET MORE STRESSED. HERES THE NEXT INTERVENTION. I JUST HAPPEN TO LIVE NEXT DOOR A RETIRED NURSE IN BETH.
I DECIDE TO KNOCK ON THEIR DOOR AT 11:30 OR LATER. THANKFULLY THEY WERE AWAKE AND TOOK ME INTO THE HOUSE. I KNEW IT WAS BAD THE WAY BETH ACTED. BUT YET VERY CONTROLLED IN HER APPROACH TO MEND THIS WOUND. SHE TOOK TIME TO CLEAN THE WOUND AND BANDAGE ME UP. HER QUICK ACTIONS AND OBVIOUSLY GODS MERCY I DID NOT SWELL UP AS BAD AS IT WOULD HAVE AND NO INFECTION.
I MAY HAVE AN ISSUE WITH MY ORBITAL BUT IM GOING TO WATCH AND SEE IF THE SWELLING GOES AWAY IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. I NEVER HAD A HEADACHE NOR CONCUSSION I CAN TELL. ITS PRETTY KNARLY LOOKING BUT FOR THE MOST PART I DOING WELL. I GUESS I SHOULD HAVE NOT DROPPED MY PHYSICS CLASS IN HIGH SCHOOL. THEN AGAIN I DID GET TO PROVE THE LAWS ARE STILL FUNCTIONING JUST FINE.
ITS A LITTLE HARD TO REALLY GET THE IMPRESSION OF WHAT HAPPENED IN JUST WORDS. YOU WOULD HAVE N IDEA BUT NOT THE SPECIFICS. SO I WILL SHOW YOU FEW OF THE PICTURES IF IM ABLE TO UPLOAD THEM HERE. I DON’T WANT TO LOOK

I AM FROM SYRACUSE WHERE WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH WINTER STORMS COLD WEATHER. EVEN HARDER WE AVERAGE 144 INCHES OF SNOW. YA THATS 12 FEET. OCCASIONALLY WE HAD REAL BAD WINTER BLIZZARDS THAT CAN DUMP A FOOT OR MORE OF SNOW. SO WHAT DO I DO. WELL WHAT ALL NEW YORKERS DO. MOVE TO FL DRIVE SLOW N UPSET EVERYONE
I MOVED TO S FL 89/90. 1992 WE HAD HURRICANE ANDREW HIT US. ITS WAS THE MOST DISTRACTIVE HURRICANE’S in S Fl. EVEN TODAY THERE ARE STILL PLACES THAT NEVER RECOVERED ESPECIALLY IN HOMESTEAD. LITERALLY WHOLE NEIGHBORHOODS DISAPPEARED COMPLETELY AND NEVER RETURNED. FORTUNATELY WE WERE ON THE LESS DISTRUSTFUL SIDE OF ANDREW. SO OUR DAMAGE WAS MOSTLY RAIN. HOWEVER WE WERE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY FOR TWO WEEKS. IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING BOUT S FL IN MID SUMMER THEN YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND HOW UNCOMFORTABLE YOU ARE WITHOUT AC.
I HAD STARTED A LAWN BIZZ JUST FEW MONTHS EARLIER. THERE WAS NO LACK OF WORK FOR THOSE US WHO WERE IN LAWN BUSINESS. I HAD CROSSED PATHS WITH SEVERAL OTHER GUYS WHO HAD THEIR OWN BIZZ TOO. BECAUSE I HAD ONLY BEEN IN THE BIZZ FOR SUCH A SHORT TIME I OFTEN WOULD TEAM UP WITH THESE GUYS. MOSTLY TO LEARN EXPOSURE AND THE MONEY WAS GOOD ALSO.
i OFTEN WORKED WITH ART. HE HAD BEEN IN THE LAWN BIZZ FOR 20 YEARS. I WAS THE ONLY OTHER OWNER HE’D EVER TEAMED UP WITH. I LEARNED A LOT FROM HIM. I HAD NOT WORKED WITH ART FOR FEW MONTHS WHEN ANDREW HIT. IT TOOK BOUT A WEEK TO GET OUT TO WORK. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WAS GAS. I GOT A CALL FROM ART. HE HAD A BIG ESTATE THAT HE HAD TO DO A MAJOR CLEAN UP. THE GENTLEMAN HAD SEVERAL GOOD SIXE TRESS THAT HAD FALLEN.
ONE OF THE OTHER JOBS I HAD IN SYRACUSE WAS FIRE WOOD. SO I WAS VERY FAMILIAR CHAINSAWS AND HOW TO READ THE TRESS I WOULD WORK ON. ITS ALWAYS PREFERABLE TO WORK ABOVE YOUR WORK. THIS WOUL INSURE NOTHING WOULD ROLL OR FALL ON YOU. CUTTING FIRE WOOD OR JUST TREES IS ACTUALLY AN ART TO IT. ART TOLD ME HE WOULD SPLIT THE PROFITS HALF N HALF. I ALSO KNEW HE WAS CHARGING $3000 HALF THAT WOULD BE SWEET. THE BIGGEST ISSUE FOR ME WAS TIME. ART WAS MOVING REAL SLOW. LIKE WE WOULD BE THERE FOR OVER A WEEK. THEN THE MONEY DOES NOT MAKE SINCE. ESPECIALLY WHEN WE COULD DO IT WITHIN TWO NO MORE THE THREE DAYS.
NEEDLESS TO SAY ART HAD ONE SPEED SLOW. THE FOURTH DAY WE HAD BEEN CUTTING TRESS FOR TWO DAYS. I STARTED WORKING ON A TREE THAT FELL INTO ANOTHER TREE. SO THE IT WAS ALL TWISTED TOGETHER WITH THE STANDING TREE. IT WAS GETTING LATE AND I WANTED TO FINISH CUTTING UP THIS TREE BEFORE I CALLED IT A DAY. IDK LIKELY CUS I WAS TIRED AND FRUSTRATED THAT I HAD TONDO ALL THE TREE WORK WHILE ART WAS HERE N THERE. HE WOULD OFTEN DISAPPEAR FOR FEW HOURS.
SO I AM WORKING ON THE TREE AND THE LAST BRANCH I WAS CUTTING HAD A BEEN IN IT. I ABSOLUTELY KNEW I HAD TO KNOTCH THE BRANCH ON THE BOTTOM BEFORE CUTTING FROM THE TOP. INSTEAD I JUST TRIED TO CUT FROM TOP DOWN THROUGH. I HAD GOT 3/4 WAY THROUGH THE BRANCH AND IT PINCHED MY BLACE. I COULDN’T GET IT LOOSE SO MY CHAINSAW BLADE WAS STUCK. BECAUSE THE TREE WAS SO INTER-TWINED I COULD NOT SEE EXACTLY WHERE THE HANG UP WAS.
SO I PROCEEDED TO REACH UP AND TAKE THE TENSION OFF THE BRANCH TO FREE UP MY CHAINSAW. I REACHED UP UNDER THE BRANCH AND AS I PULLED DOWN ID FORGOTTEN TO TURN OF CHAINSAW. USUALLY I WOULD HEAR THE SAW RUNNING AS I HAD MY HEAD PHONES ON. WHEN I PULLED THE TENSION OFF THE BRANCH, THE CHAINSAW KICKED ON AND CAUGHT MY FINGER.
INSTINCTIVELY I KNEW I HAD MESSED UP. AT FIRST I DID NOT FEEL ANY PAIN LIKELY FROM THE ADRENALINE RUSH. I QUICKLY PULLED MY HAND OUT AND GRABBED MY LEFT HAND ITH MY RIGHT HAND AND SQUEEZED. I WAS HOPING TO STOP ANY BLEEDING THAT WAS SURLY COMING. AS IM SQUEEZING FOR FIRST FEW SECONDS THERE WAS NOT ANY BLEEDING. JUST AS I THOUGHT I MAY GET LUCKY THE BLOOD STARTED FLOWING EVERYWHERE. IT WAS THEN I WAS MOST DIFFERENTLY WORRIED.
ALL I COULD THINK IS I DO NOT WANT TOLOOK AT THIS. I REALLY AT THIS POINT FIGURED ID CUT OFF PART OF MY RING FINGER. I REALLY DID NOT WANT TO SEE A MISSING FINGER. BY THEN MY DAD HAD GOT OVER TO ME. I COULD SEE IN HIS EYES AS HE WATCHED THE BLOOD POURING OUT HE WAS ACTUALLY TURNING PALE. WE TALKED A MINUTE OR SO IDK REMEMBER WHAT WAS SAID. YET AT THIS POINT NEITHER OF US WANTED TO LOOK BUT KNEW WE HAD TO. IM THINKING IF ILOST A SEGMENT OF MY FINGER HOW HARD WILL IT BE TO FIND IT. THEN COULD THEY SEW IT BACK ON.
SO FINALLY I WAS LOOSING SO MUCH BLOOD I. DECIDED TO LOOK. WHEN I LOOKED I WAS HORRIFIED AT WHAT I SAW.
THIS IS WHERE I WILL LEAVE YOU. AT THIS POINT I DID NOT EVEN REALIZE THAT GOD HAD INTERVENED ALREADY. HOWEVER I FOUND THAT HARD TO BELIEVE AS I BEGAN TO SEE THE MAGNITUDE OF MY SITUATION.

OH LORD NOT HER
THIS WILL NOT BE VERY LONG. I PROMISE. I HAD TOLD YOU THAT I HAD GONE ON SEVERAL MISSIONARY TRIPS. THIS TOOK PLACE IN GUATEMALA. I WAS ON A MEDICAL MISSIONS TRIP.
THE PEOPLE WOULD WAIT FOR HOURS TO COME INSIDE WHERE THE DOCTORS WOULD CHECK OUT THEIR VITALS WHILE CHECKING FOR MORE SERIOUS CONDITIONS. AFTER THEIR EVALUATION THEY WOULD COME IN OUR HOLDING PLACE. MOST OF THE PEOPLE IVE TALKED TO OVER THE YEARS WERE UNDER MOSTLY 30 YEARS OLD OR UNDER. THE OLDEST WAS FRANCIS. ( EARLY POST) AS I SET THERE I LOOK AT WHOS COMING IN. THERE WAS THIS ELDERLY LADY THERE. SHE DID NOT LOOK AMUSED AFTER SITTING IN THE HOT SUN. SHE WAS ONE OF FIVE LADIES WAITING TO HAVE THEIR MEDICATION FILLED WHILE WE TALKED TO THEM.
I REMEMBER SEEING HER AND ASKED GOD PLESE NOT HER. SHES OLDER AND LIKELY REAL SET IN HER BELIEFS BESIDES THAT SHE LOOKED REALLY MEAN. WELL YOU DID NOT HAVE TO GUESS WHO THE LORD GAVE ME. YEP I GOT THE LADY. IDK BUT I WAS INTIMIDATED WHEN I AM BEFORE ELDERLY PEOPLE. THEY OFTEN GIVE YOU. ITS OK JUNIOR IM JUST FINE. OR THANKS BUT IVE BEEN ROUND AWHILE AND…..
SO THERE I AM MEAN AND THE MEAN LADY. IDK HOW I GOT INTO THE CONVERSATION WITH HER. BUT HONESTLY SHE WAS VERY RECEPTIVE TO HEARING ME OUT. HOWEVER IM NOT SURE SHE WILL LISTEN NOT JUST HEAR. AFTER TWENTY MINUTES THE MEAN ELDERLY WOMAN HAD A BIG SMILE ON HER FACE. SHE WAS SO GRATEFUL FOR HER SALVATION. ME WELL IM AMAZED. BUT I LEARNED FROM THAT EXPERIENCE. THAT GOD WILL SPEAK TO ANYONE THROUGH A WILLING PARTNER.
AFTER I WAS DONE AND SHE HAD HER MEDICATION. SHE GOT UP AND GAVE ME A BIG HUG. MIND YOU WE WERE WARNED STERNLY BY THE DOCTORS NOT TO HANDLE PEOPLE. AS WE COULD GET SICK FROM THINGS THEY CARRY AND CAN TRANSMIT. I TOLD GOD IF YOU BROUGHT ME HERE AND HE DID. THEN HE WOULD HAVE TO PROTECT ME AS IM CONTACT PERSON AND WAS NOT GOING TO CHANGE. FYI I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO DID NOT GET SICK THE REST OF THE 14 VOLUNTEERS DID. SO I ASK THE NEW SISTER, KNOWING WHERE SHE WENT TO GET HER SPIRITUAL CONTENT. IT WAS A DENOMINATION THAT HAD MANY WAYS TO GET TO HEAVEN. IF YOU CAME TO THIS BAPTIST CHUCH TO RECEIVE CHRIST. WHERE WILL YOU BE GOING TO WORSHIP. SHE SAYS BACK TO HER TRADITION. I ASKED WHY? SHE REMARKED IVE BEEN THERE FOR CLOSE TO 80 YEARS AND THE MINISTER NEVER GAVE HER THE SAVING MESSAGE. SHE WAS GOING TO TELL HIM AND THE REST OF THOSE WHO WOULD LISTEN. BASICALLY SHE WAS GOING TO TELL HIM OFF. I DID NOT ENCOURAGE HER TO DO SO BUT WAS NOT GOING TO STOP HER EITHER. SHE DID SAY SHE WOULD BE BACK IN TWO WEEKS WITH MANY OF HER FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
WELL THAT WAS MY STORY ABOUT THE MEAN LADY. NOT QUITE. LATER IN THE AFTERNOON HER GRANDDAUGHTER WAS THERE FOR A CONSULTATION. WHEN SHE CAME IN SO DID GRANDMA. GUESS WHO SHE WAS BRING HER GRANDDAUGHTER TO. WELL SHE WAS FIFTEEN AND EVEN THERE THE TEENS ACT THE SAME. SHE SAT THERE AND WOULD ROLL HER EYES OR LOOK AWAY. THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES. THATS WHEN MEAN GRANDMA CAME OUT. SHE POPPED HER GRANDDAUGHTER IN THE HEAD AND TOLD HER SHE WOULD GO TO HELL IF SHE DID NOT PAY ATTENTION. SHE SAT UP AND WAS VERY MUCH INTUNE.
SHE ALSO RECEIVED CHRIST. I WAS MOVED BY GRANDMA SAYING SHE ONLY WANTED TO TALK TO ME WHEN IT CAME TO HER GRANDDAUGHTER. I ALSO FOUND IT FUNNY THAT THE TEEN WAS A HARDER CASE THEN GRANDMA. AS THEY LEFT BOTH GAVE ME HUG. THE TEEN WAS CRYING WITH HAPPINESS. I LEARNED THAT GID HAD EVERYTHING COVERED. I JUST HAD TO BE THE SPOKESPERSON.
WELL THAT WAS A BIT LONGER THEN ANTICIPATED. THAT SAID I HOPE YOU ARE ENCOURAGED BY MY EXPERIENCE. GOD CAN USE YOU IN EVEN MORE POWERFUL WAYS THEN ME. I AM ON VACATION AS WE SPEAK. SHE TOLD ME SHE HAD SOMETHING SHE WANTED TO DONATE TO ME. I ASKED YOU MEAN THE MINISTRY,SHE REPLIES NO ITS FOR YOU. DO YOU MIND IF I DROP IT OFF SUNDAY. I TELL HER YES, AND GO ON WITH LIFE. I COULD NOT IMAGINE WHAT SHE WOULD BE BRINING. LATER THE NEXT DAY MY DIRECTOR CALLS ME AND TELLS ME TO EXPECT A CALL FROM ROSE FROM HUSTON. I MENTIONED I ALREADY SPOKE TO HER. I COULD NOT GET ANY MORE OUT OF HIM.
SUNDAY COMES WE HAD JUST ENDED OUR SUNDAY EARLY SERVICE AND WERE TRANSITIONING INTO OUR MAIN SERVICE. I ALWAYS TAKE TIME TO REFOCUS ON MY MIND AND SPIRIT WITH GOD. NOW THIS CAR IS BUILT FOR ROUND TOWN SHORT FEW HOUR TRIPS. CERTAINLY NOT A COMFORTABLE RIDE FROM HUSTON 2500 MILES AWAY. THAT IN ITSELF WAS PRETTY IMPRESSIVE. SHE SAID I BECAME THE OWNER FOR GOD HAD TOLD HER TO GIVE IT TO YFC. I ASKED DO YOU NOT HAVE YFC IN HUSTON. YES BUT I DID NOT GET THEM TO CALL HER BACK. ROSE THE TOLD ME I HAVE A FRIEND WHO IDK FOR SURE SHES SAVED AND HER SON WHO DIFFERENTLY ISNT SAVED. SHE SAID. *I HAD RECEIVED CHRIST THROUGH YFC RALLY WHEN SHE WAS A YOUNG TEEN* I AM GOING TO BE IN TOWN RECONNECTING WITH JENNIFER AND WAS HOPING TO BRING HER TO A SERVICE.
I WAS MOVED BY SUCH LOVE TO DRIVE ALL THAT WAY TO TRY AND REACH HER FRIEND TO BECOME A CHILD OF GOD. SHE HAD TOLD ME CONRAD IS VERY IMPRESSED WITH BY ABILITY TO SHARE THE GOSPEL. I TOLD HER SHE SURLY DID NOT HAVE TO GIVE ME A CAR. ESPECIALLY SEEING IT WAS JUST FEW YEARS FROM BECOMING WORTH LOTS OF MONEY. SHE SAID THE CAR WAS SOMETHING I KNEW YOU NEEDED AS WE ONLY HAD A VAN TO PICK KIDS UP WITH. CONRAD HAD TOLD HER WHEN ASKED IF I NEEDED A CAR YES I COULD USE ONE. AT THAT MOMENT SHE KNEW WHERE IT WAS GOING TO YFC SHE DID NOT KNOW WHO BUT STILL TRUSTED GOD
I TOLD HER I CAN NOT PROMISE ANYTHING BEYOND MAKING HER ACCOUNTABLE. I ALSO FOUND OUT JENNIFER HAD A VERY CONTROLLING HUSBAND AND ALL THAT CAME WITH THAT. SO ROSE DID NOT THINK JENNIFER WOULD COME AND VERY LIKELY WOULD NOT BE NEAR ME AS A MAN. IT TOOK SEVERAL PHONE CALLS TILL WE FINALLY ALL GOT TOGETHER AND WENT OUT TO DINNER. SHE BECAME LESS UNEAZY ROUND ME. I THINK IT WAS ABOUT FIVE SIX WEEKS BEFORE SHE CAME TO OUR SUNDAY SERVICE.
HER SON WAS NOT INTERESTED IN GOD AT ALL. JENNIFER WAS INTERESTED BUT NOT EXACTLY INTO THE BIBLE. THEY CAME TO EVERY SERVICE THEY COULD N JENNIFER LISTENED VERY ATTENTIVELY. THEN WE WOULD SPEAK AFTER THE SERVICE. EACH TIME I COULD DRAW HER A LITTLE CLOSER BUT I WASNT SURE SHE WOULD BITE.
IT WAS A WEEK AFTER ROSE WENT HOME AND LEFT THAT SWEET MR2. JENNIFER BECAME PART OF THE MINISTRY AS SHE FOUND COMFORT THERE. WE HAD NOW GOT TO A PLACE WHERE SHE WOULD BE ALONE WITH ME AS LONG AS OTHERS WERE OUTSIDE THE OFFICE. THEN IT HAPPENED THERE ARE ALWAYS SALVATIONS THAT ARE MORE MOVING FOR ME THEN OTHERS. I HAD BEEN PRAYING FOR JENNIFER SALVATION FROM THE MOMENT I LAID EYES ON HER. GOD BLEST ME WITH LEADING JENNIFER TO CHRIST. I DO NOT REMEMBER THE DATE( BUT DO HAVE IT. AS I KEEP TRACK OF ALL THOSE GOD BLEST ME TO BRING TO HIM) IT WAS A WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT 8:43 PM WHEN JENNIFER BECAME A CHILD OF GOD. IT WAS SO MUCH SWEETER AS I REALIZED I JENNIFER WAS NUMBER 1000 OF THE PEOPLE I HAD LEAD TO CHRIST. IT WAS ALSO A MOVING EXPERIENCE WHE JENNIFER CALLED ROSE N TOLD HER WHAT HAD JUST HAPPENED.
I REMEMBER MY FIRST CHILD I LEAD TO CHRIST TEN YEARS EARLIER. THE 99 n 100TH WERE TWIN SISTERS TEN YEARS OF AGE. WITH I. THREE MORE YEARS ID HAVE LEFT THE YOUTH PASTOR AND GOD MADE IT CLEAR IT WAS TIME TO START LIGHT HOUSE MINISTRIES. THEN IN TWO THREE MORE YEARS I WOULD BE WITH JENNIFER AND WHAT HER SALVATION GAVE ME WAS WAY BEYOND ANY NUMBER. UNFORTUNATELY HER SON NEVER DID BECOME A CHRISTIAN.
I WOULD NOT GET HUNG UP ON THE NUMBER AS MUCH AS ONE SHOULD REJOICE ON SUCH A FAITHFUL FRIEND AS ROSE. WHO BECAME MY YELLOW ROSE FROM TEXAS. THATS THE THING TO PRAISE THE LORD FOR. I HAVE BEEN BLEST WITH REACHING 4000 SOULS OVER THE PAST TEN YEARS. THAT SOUNDS AMAZING TILL YOU REALIZE THE APOSTLES REACHED OVER 3000 IN ONE NIGHT. IT TOOK 36500 DAYS PLUS TO REACH THEIR POWERFUL MESSAGE.

I HAD GONE BACK TO SEE SOME OF THE POSTS THAT HAD PARTS LEFT UNFINISHED. THIS IS ONE. WHEN WE LEFT MY UNCLE ARCHIE (UA) HAD NOT SET THE TABLE FOR ME TO TALK TO HIS UNCLE ELMER (UE). HOWEVER I HAD SHATED THE GOSPEL TO HIS DAUGHTERS. ILENE WHO WAS SAVED AND IRENE WHO WAS NOT.
I HAD LED IRENE TO CHRIST AND WE WERE ALL REJOICING BOUT THE DECISION ITRNE MADE. ON THE WAY HOME UA ASKES WHAT HAPPENED? HE WENT ON TO SAY NO ONE EVER SAYS NO TO YOU. NOW THAT SURLY IS NOT TRUE BUT IVE BEEN RICHLY BLEST TO HAVE THE VAST MAJORITY SAY YES. UA HAD NOT SEEN THAT HAPPEN WHEN DOING MINISTRY UP IN SYRACUSE. I COULD NOT SAY ANYTHING TO UA BOUT LOOSING FOCUS. HE ALREADY FELT TERRIBLE. I TOLD HIM I DIDNT HARDEN UE HEART.
WE BOTH KNEW ITS HIGHLY UNLIKELY UE WOULD BE ALIVE IN A FEW WEEKS. THERE WAS NO WAY UE WOULD TALK TO ME. EVEN IF HE DID HE KNOWS WHERE IM GOING WITH THE GOSPEL. ALL WE COULD DO IS PRAY.
MID MORNING WE GOT A PHONE CALL FROM ILENE AND IRENE. WE KNEW IT WAS LIKELY VERY BAD NEWS. I HAD TOLD MY 2ND COUSINS IF UE PASSES AWAY I WOULD DO THE FUNERAL. ILENE TOLD ME THAT THE TWO OF THEM PRACTICED SOME OF THE WAYS I HAD SHOWN THEM. ALSO ILENE SAW THE HOW HER SISTER BECOME A CHRISTIAN. THEY HAD PRACTICED ALL DAY N INTO THE LATE EVENING. THEY HAD PRAYED FOR HELP AS THEY WERE GOING TO TALK TO THEIR DAD.
THEY WERE/ARE HIS BEST SHOT. HOW DO I KNOW. JESUS TO US TO GO HOME FIRST. SO SATURDAY EARLY MORNING THEY TOOK UE HIS BREAKFAST AND BEGAN TO SHARE WHAT HAPPENED TO IFENE THE DAY BEFORE. UE ACTUALLY ENGAGED WITH THEM. IT WAS NOT TO LONG AND UE RECEIVED CHRIST AS SAVIOR.
BOTH UA AND I WERE SO AMAZED THAT THESE GIRLS MADE UP THEIR MINDS THEY WERE GOING TO REACH THEIR DAD. UE WANTED UA TO COME BY. SO I HAD SOME PRIOR ENGAGEMENTS BUT UA WENT OVER. UE STARTE$ TELLING UA HE BETTER GET SAVED. UA ASURE$ UE HE WAS. THEY SPENT THE WHOLE DAY TOGETHER. UA SAID HE ENJOYED HIMSELF AND WAS MOVED THAT UE WANTED TO MAKE SURE UA WOULD BE WITH HIM IN HEAVEN.
YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT GOD IS DOING. ALL WE CAN DO IS BE A WILLING PARTICIPANT IN THE BUILDING OF THE KINGDOM. WORDS HAVE WAY MORE POWER THEN WE REALIZE ESPECIALLY WHEN BACKED THE HOLY SPIRIT. WE ONLY FAIL IF WE DO NOT TRY. UE PASSED AWAY A FEW WEEKS LATER.

THIS WILL BE CONSIDERABLY SHORTER THEN MOST OF MY POSTS. A FEW MONTHS AGO I HAD TOLD YOU ABOUT ROLLING OVER AND ENDING UP ALMOST DROWNING IN A CANAL WHILE WORKING ON A GOLF COURSE. I REMEMBER HEARING THE LADY IT WAS JUST BEFORE THE GOLFERS REACHED ME. I WAS THINKING THIS WAS WAY CLOSER TO DEATH THEN I REALIZED. FOR THAT FEW SECONDS I WAS SERIOUSLY AWARE HOW PRECIOUS LIFE IS. ALSO HOW QUICKLY LIFE CAN END. NO WARNING NO WAY TO KNOW AND LITERALLY IN A SECOND EVERYTHING COULD GO SO SIDEWISE. I ALWAYS CHUCKLED TO MYSELF WHEN PEOPLE TOLD ME THEY WOULD HAVE TIME TO ASK GOD TO SAVE YOU. AS I TOOK IN THOSE FIRST FEW BREATHS I KNEW WHY I LAUGHED AT THEM. OF COURSE NOW LIVING THROUGH ANOTHER NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE I BECAME AWARE THAT EVEN IF I WANTED TO ASK GOD TO SAVE MY SOUL THERE WAS NO TIME
THE AMBULANCE SHOWED UP PROBABLY 20 MINUTES OR MORE LATER. THE GOLFERS ACTUALLY A LOT OF THEM SHOWED UP. I HEARD FEW OF THEM SAYING THEY SAW THE WHOLE THING AND COMMENTING THEY THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO BE DEAD. AFTER THE ADRENALINE DUMP ENDED I FELT SOME PAIN ON MY RIGHT LEG. WHEN I HAD ESCAPED FROM UNDER THE MACHINE I HAD APPARENTLY CUT MYSELF ON THE CORAL ROCK IN A FEW PLACES. IF YOUR NOT FAMILIAR WITH CORAL ITS AS SHARP AS A RAZOR BLADE. I COULD NOT SEE THE CUT OR HOW DEEP MUST THE BLOOD. CORAL ALSO CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INFECTIONS.
I GET LOADED IN THE AMBULANCE NOW PROBABLY IN A LITTLE SHOCK I DO NOT REMEMBER THE RIDE EXCEPT THEM WORKING ON MY LEG. ONE THING ABOUT EMERGENCY ROOM THEY TAKE YOU PRETTY QUICK. I ENDED UP IN A ROOM FOR BOUT AN HOUR. IT WASNT CUS THEY WERE NEGLECTING ME I JUST TOLD THEM THERE WERE OTHERS WHO NEEDED YOU WORSE THEN ME.

HOWEVER I WAS GETTING NO WHERE. AT THIS TIME ID BEEN SINGLE FOR 8 YEARS, THAT HAD BEEN THE LONGEST TIME BY YEARS THAT I WAS FLYING SOLO.
AFTER THE OPERATION THEY PUT ME IN A ROOM WHERE THEY KEPT WATCH OVER ME THERE WAS A NURSE THAT KEPT POPPING IN TO SEE ME BUT SHE WAS NOT MY NURSE. AFTER AWHILE WE BEGAN TO TALK SHE SAID TO ME YOUR A CHRISTIAN ARENT YOU I SAID YES HOW DID YOU KNOW SHE (JASMINE) TOLD ME SHE HAD NOTICED I WAS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT OYSTERS THEN ME IDK WE TALKED PROBABLY A HALF HOUR. I FOUND OUT SHE WAS DIVORCED AND HAD A FOUR YR OLD BOY
ANYWAY AS I WAS BEING RELEASED SHE CAME BY AND GAVE ME HER OHINE NUMBER SHE WAS SPANISH I HAD DATED ONE BEFORE YOU MAY HEAR BOUT HER ONE DAY, SO I WAS COOL WITH IT. GOD SPARED MY LIFE BUT THERE WAS A COST. BUT THE COST WAS NEGATED BY WHAT I LEARNED. FIRST GOD HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE. HE WAS LISTENING, HE WAS WORKING THINGS OUT FOR ME TO STEP INTO MY CALLING. HE SHOWED ME WHILE WE ARE PUTTING OF CHECKERS ON THE BOARD, GOD IS PLAY TEN LEVEL CHESS. I ALSO LEARNED I HAD TO CHANGE MY LIFE STYLE TO BE READY FOR THE NEXT STEP.
AS WE SEE GOD IS SO FAR AHEAD THAT THE ONLY WAY TO KEEP UP IS FAITH THIS IS THE END OF THIS EXPERIENCE. ONCE AGAIN IM HUMBLED BY THE THOUSANDS OF EYES THAT HAVE COME HERE. TRULY IM GRATEFUL. INTERVENTION
I DO NOT WANT TO LOOK PT #2
When I last left you I had got to a point for many reasons I had to look and see how bad this was. I this point I nothing of the issues that can come into play when bone is involved, but that’s what I’m thinking. I just don’t know how much and thinking this would not be a clean cut. Standing here getting faint isn’t gonna help any. Idk if you ever had a injury where you really didn’t want to see the result, then when you know you have to you know have had to much time to think bout this and you absolutely don’t want to look. That’s where I was. When I took my right hand from around my left. All I saw was blood and still had not opened my left hand from the fist I was holding it in. When I open my hand my ring finger was there but it looked like hamburg. I couldn’t see where the nail was supposed to be. I could see bone THATS when I got pretty light heard.
i know this sounds crazy or what were you thinking moments. But I wrapped it up after washing it out and finished cutting that branch down. I didn’t have any insurance Who does when you are 30 and already surprised I had made it to 30 I had already won. We didn’t have urgent care back then. I got home and went over to my neighbor as she was a nurse and showed her. She got her first aid kit out and cleaned up. When she looked at it she told me I’d likely loose my tip of the finger. What was worrisome to her was the bone got hit. This she told me could cause gangrene if not taken care of.
i know what I should do but our ER wasn’t a guarantee anything good would happen. Especially if you got no insurance. I was lead to call doctors in the area. It’s 6pm I’m thinking who will be in their office this time of day. Well GOD intervenes and there’s a Dr and says come over. I got there it wasn’t much to look at but hey I found a Dr on Friday evening. I had to fill out all this paper work. Then they asked insurance? No my reply. The security said to sit and wait. I could see problems but hoped I’d have a chance to talk my way in if all else failed. It was bout 7:30 before he called me in.
This was another place I got bailed out. The Dr was training an attractive young lady Dr So I was the practice on guy. When he showed it to me all blown up on the screen it seemed he would have take part of it off. Unbelievably he and her operated three hours and reconstructed my finger. It’s got a scar today and that’s it. Here’s the thing. When I went back to pay him toward my bill. The secretary could not find a bill. She could not even find any record of me being there. I know she remembered me but never bought it up. It’s like everyone was in on something. She told me not to worry about payments for the Dr didn’t make document I was there. Apparently there was not any of the paperwork I filled out either.Theres a few places in there GOD spared me. I have my whole finger I have a fingernail where there wasn’t one. I didn't get gangrene figure has feeling and still works. My neighbor was a nurse I am quite happy stopping there as I know GOD was there. At the time I thought I was more lucky than blest. But I was on the fast lane to figure out the difference. My whole future as I know it was dependent on me getting this rite.

I ONLY FALL BACK TO THAT ANY OF THE ABOVE WOULD HAVE GUARANTEED I WOULD NOT END UP IN THE KINGDOM BUILDING SERVICE.

THE PLAN WAS TO MEET STEVE IN VEGAS. SEEMED LIKE A GOOD PLAN. I MEAN WHATS NOT TO LOVE ABOUT A ALL PAID RETREAT TO SIN CITY. WHAT COULD GO WRONG? GLAD YOU ASKED I HAD NOT FLOWN IN SEVERAL YEARS. THIS BEING THE MID 80’S IDK WHAT CHANGED BUT FORURE SECURITY WAS WAY DIFFERENT.
LAST TIME I HAD GONE TO THE AIRPORT YOU COULD WALK RITE THROUGH THE AIRPORT . IT WAS A BIG DEAL. EVERYONE GO TO THE AIRPORT TO SEE FRIENDS OFF.
WELL NOW THEY HAD SCANNERS. NORMALLY THAT WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM. UNLESS YOU HAPPEN TO HAVE $76,000 IN CASH IN A DUFFEL BAG. OH AND THEY WERE MAKING YOU EMPTY YOUR POCKETS, NORMALLY NO PROBLEM. UNLESS YOU HOLDING A 8 BALL OF COCAINE YA AT THAT TIME IN A AIRPORT I WAS LOOKING AT 5 YEARS TO START.

AGAINST ALL ODDS FUNNY KINDA IRONIC RITE I AM HEADED TO A PLACE WHERE THE ODDS ARE AGAIST THE VISITOR. NERVOUS DOESNT BEGIN TO EPLAIN WHERE MY MIND WAS AT. WE HAD TO FLY INTO CHICAGO. THE ONE THING I HAD IN MY FAVOR IS WE WERE RUNNING WAY BEHIND. SO WE ACTUALLY HAD TO RUN TO THE NEXT FLIGHT. SEEING NO ONE WAS THERE TO PULL ME OFF TO THE SIDE I KEPT MOVING.
I AM STLL CONVINCED THAT IN VEGAS I WOULD GET BUSTED. SO WHAT DID I DO WITH THE SNOW. ANY INTELLIGENT PERSON WOULD HAVE GONE TO THE BATHROOM ON THE FLIGHT AND DISPOSED OF IT. WELL APPARENTLY M IQ WAS OFF I KEEP IT. I AM ROLLING THE DICE LITERALLY. SO WE LAND IN.VAGAS WE WALK OFF THE JET I LOOK AROUND WHO DO I SEE STEVE. THATS GOOD RITE? WELL YA IF NEITHER IS ABOUT TO BE BUSTED.
UNBELIEVABLE TO ME WE JUST WALK OUT OF THE AIRPORT. HERES THE IRIONY STEVE TAKES ME TO THE ROULETTE TABLE AND GIVES ME $100. WHICH IN TEN MINUTES I TURN INTO $1500. I HAD NO IDEA HOW TO PLAY THE GAME. I JUST PUT CHIPS OUT AND GET MORE BACK. THEN STEVE ASKS WHATS MY SECRET. I LAUGH HE THEN TELLS ME HOW TO PLAY THE ODDS. I TRY IT AND LOOSE $400 IN LIKE TWO SPINS. SO I DO WHAT VERY FEW DO. I QUIT. GAVE THE $100 BACK TO STEVE N BAG THE $1000. I ACTUALLY DO NOT GET BUSTED BUT I DO NOT LEAVE BUSTED EITHER.
SO RIGHT NOW ONE COULD SAY IT ALL WORKED OUT FOR ME. ACTUALLY I MAY HAVE NOT GONE TO JAIL. BUT WAS ALREADY IN JAIL JUST BY GETTING HIGH ON MY SUPPLY. THAT [ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS] ENDS BADLY. EVENTUALLY I WOULD CRASH N BURN.

I WANTED TO REACH OUT TO HIM AS HE IS THE ONE WHO MAKES DECISIONS FOR ALL THE SCHOOLS IN DISTRICT 3. I WANTED TO GET HIM TO LOOK INTO WHY OUR PROGRAM WAS NOT BEING PICKED UP BY THE PRINCIPAL ( SHE ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT LIKE ANYTHING BOUT ME. AS DESPITE HER MANY OBJECTIONS I WAS NOMINATED AND ELECTED PRESIDENT OF OUR PTA, THIS WILL SHOW UP IN A POST IN THE NEAR FUTURE) SHE IS BLAMING HIM AND HIS BOARD FROM GIVING HER THE OK. Hi Daryl, this happens to me once in a while where I look at the clock and it is 3:16. I always smile and remember the verse John 3:16. I believe for me God is prompting me to remember Him and what He did for me, to stop the busyness of my day and this world and remember Him! I absolutely love your perspective on slowing down. There are times when we get so excited so addicted to the activity we enjoy of GOD. Unfortunately do to the detriment of us embracing and pursuing the love of the GOD of the activity. FOG OF WAR
(PART #1)
There are always circumstances/events that we as a people are effected. Be it personally and yet as a country we all felt the same way. 9/11 is one of those events that you absolutely remember where you were. As we watched in first confusion and then horror. It changed everything in our countries psyche.
Depending where you were also would dictate how you experienced that day. Were we in the middle absorbing everything from our tv, or were you in the FOG OF WAR directly effected as you were there. This is my FOG OF WAR experience. My daughter and I were flying out of Syracuse NY. We took the second flight out of Syracuse to save on over lay. As we entered my daughter Marsha stopped. At that time in her life she was so close to GOD I paid close attention to what GOD would say through her. In this instance it was that pale look on her face. At first I thought it may be that the week before Karen went home on same flight and the jet had issues. When I asked she replied idk but it not the jet. So I ask her do we take the plane or bump it till the 12. Marsha said I believe if we pray we will be ok. We always prayed before travel. So this was GOD saying pray hard. As we got into the hanger with our Christian Witness Ware we stood in the middle of the 30-40 people and prayed. As we finished over to the left were several men also praying. However the way they prayed made me to believe they were from the Middle East.
Marsha says I wonder if we should pray with them. I said more likely for their salvation. Remember at this time you could bring everyone with you to see you off. Anyway as they started calling us to enter the plane the men each gave each a hug. I thought that STRAGE. However I didn’t give it much thought at that time. Only two of the men entered the plane. Oddly to me they sat in different zones.
We taxied out to the run way because the plane was pretty full we were running five minutes late. The pilot told us we would make that time up as we flew to our destination. Our final stop was Hollywood Fl. Our connecting flight was fly out of Washington Dallas airport. Oh and we were on American Airlines. Two of the planes used to kill thousands were American Airlines. Also our flight out of Washington Dallas was the last flight out to Fl on that airlines. If you remember there was the thought the President would be a target. Of course we if our plane would have been used to attempt such a mission we would have been shoot down. However by GOD GRACE we just powered up and the pilot shut it down. While you were watching on tv and information was limited we on the plane were told it was terrorist related. After the second tower was hit they took us back to the hanger. When we got out and walked into the airport the two men quickly disappeared. We got the last vehicle on the lot. So if we would not have prayed? What if we were not five minutes late? What if our plane was used. However it was smaller and had less gas. But if we would have made the flight out of Washington? Also the airport in Syracuse has a Air Force base next to it. As we walked out to get our van we heard five of them scrambled. If there was a doubt of the seriousness of the moment it disappeared quickly. It took most of the day to gather all the information to understand that GOD had again INTERVENED on my daughter and my behalf.
I will close with portion of that day. I began to look and see what GOD was doing and where I’d fit in. I know I still have *I LIVE RIGHT THERE * to finish and I will finish this up in the next few days. Until then GODSPEED Blessings One Love PD -

DIDN’T THINK THAT THROUGH
This goes back to my years on the course. It was my second year there at RGGC. I had been so persistent with Scott the Grounds Keeper our Superintendent the year before to get this job. Scott would tell me later that it was that persistence that got me the job. However my knowledge of everything golf course kept my job. By the second year I had already moved into his Forman. One thing I always did was be constantly consistent and consistently constant. Both the hounding Scott for the job came from the teaching of the persistent woman as she made herself so obnoxious the judge took her case. The other had to do with credibility. That’s allowing myself to be accountable again a standard set forth by GOD. Either way in the future if I needed to do I said he said my credibility would be much more trustworthy.
The big thing about this Forman job was I never got a day off durning the golf season. I was also locked into the first back. That was to prepare the course for the up coming season. I was also last to be laid off. I was kept around because of my extensive knowledge of anything golf course. From cutting the grass sharping the blades on a grinde. I worked on all the machines You get tw pic.
This was mid summer on the weekend. What is the significance in that time of year? Well boit then we all grow stir crazy Almost like Cabin Fever. We grow bored. This was my day to not put any thought into my answer to boredom. We had a Cushman combination vehicle It was used for spraying it was also dump bed It was my get around the course. These things can go pretty easily reach 30mph. The way our course was you could get a running start from the club house. That was 150 feet at least. Then the tunnel path golf carts use to go between both half’s of the course. That’s another 150 feet. So ya I got a football field head start. Then there was the par four 350 plus yards. We have basically three and half football field distance. So I decide cus I didn’t think it through I was gonna see how fast I could get it going. Heres the thing on the back of the green was an eight foot drop off. So being terribly bad at the laws of mechanics I wasn’t that good at physics. So those two disciplines were not on my radar. So I take off there’s no one in sight. I’m already going 15 when I hit the 10th hole par 4 350 plus yards. As I came up on the green I had planned on being air borne. However with out those two law things physics and mechanics in the equation One didn’t count the cost here and I was very much aware I was bout to fly. What made this more difficult was the fact this cart had three wheels. One up front. Ya that’s the same feeling that kicked in with me. This landing would have to be perfect. I’d have to come down with the wheel straight. No matter what direction I was going. Behind this green is pretty busy with cart paths entrances into our shop the next tee. Scatter in a few trees and you have a recipe for disaster in the best of times. I’m putting this together and I got two seconds. I was going to be air borne it wasn’t until the last second I worked out the math. I was going to be 8 feet high at 45mph and will travel twenty feet in the air. It’s not likely I will land on the back wheels. What is apparent is I’m going to hit on this front wheel. Only designed for turning. That was not done with steering wheel but rather one of those u shaped lever from the floor. It can be driven from either side this way. Nor was this built to land under these laws of physics. As I came off the back the first thing I feel is because I’ve got the spray tank on the bed.
Seems like another issue I may have considered before becoming insane by listing to Mr Boredom. At this point the Cushman is beginning to roll before I hit the ground. You heard the saying I was going along for the ride. Ya that’s me. I had to stay with the machine as I had to make sure this tire doesn’t break off or get so bent it will guarantee the machine would be trashed. Honestly I’m thinking two things. First the amount of damage will be so high there’s no reason to be traveling that fast. Recommend speed with empty tank was 10mph. So there was that. Second cus of the damage the $20,000 machine would be totaled. This will always end in heads rolling. Seeing I was there oh cus I caused the accident it will be my head. I didn’t think of how bad this could be for me. It could range from broken bones to becoming paralyzed. Heck guess I could have been called home.
As I landed the machine was not rolling any further over. So it will depend totally on the landing. Some how I was able to force myself to keep the wheel straight. If I turn it before it hits TILT GAME OVER. I should have been aware my life as I knew it could change in a blink of n eye. Worse life would be no more.
Well I wish I had a surprise ending. But I made it do to GODS INTERVENTION on my behalf. But that’s the point even when we use extremely bad judgement. Even when you intentionally decide ignorance is a policy GOD can, often does, for the most part responds when asked. That is if you have nuff time to ask especially with your life on the line. When I stoped the Cushman I’d traveled another twenty yards. I thought for sure the front wheel housing and all things suspension were trashed. Unbelievably nothing was the slightest bent twisted or cracked. I felt pretty good bout that. JOB stays intact. I didn’t want to play that credibility card now anyway. Nothing got dug up around the green. That’s always a good thing. So when all was said n done I got to go for this incredibly crazy flight and not break a thing. I actually thought that was me n my athletic skills. A few days later I got convicted bout my choice. I was also made aware GOD had to step in for that was going to end badly on so many levels. Death was one of them. Just as bad would be paralyzed for life. Today I look back and understand why GOD did what HE did. HE told me I’d be a Pastor. He also took my request as a 7 year old to be one of HIS modern day 12. Long before I’d really even know of HIM as I surly was not saved yet and couldn’t know HIM until I became a child of GOD through HIS SON. Yet HE remembered my request. I see GOD in so many turning points rather it was stay or move on in my past life both spiritually n secularly. I only know GOD took and incredibly bad idea that was to end in disaster and made it so HE is given all the GLORY.
This is where this short but eventual flirt with disaster ended way better than I thought. Especially when One considers there was no consideration on my behalf. I try not to get bored anymore. 911 PART #2
After we pulled bak into the hanger, was on the phone with family in Fl. I told them it was terrorist for that’s what we were told. I was renting the last van out of the airport. While I was waiting i watched like everyone else in America did. Knowing what it was made it deeply troubling. I gathered up my daughter and we headed out to pick up the van. That’s when the Air Force Base cut loose five F16 I guess. They were moving wry fast with purpose. It was craving how loud they were. I knew that we could easily go to war.
We got our van. We decided not to try and make it out of Syracuse. Like everyone we didn’t know what to do or not. I however looked to see what GOD was doing. It was obvious HE wanted me in Syracuse. We figured we would wait at least one more day. We drove back to the farm. However uncle A and his child hood girl friend were out somewhere. We had been home a while watching tv and just wondering where this fit in to GODS time line. I have ideas that seem even clearer nowI guess it was bout two hours before they returned. We sat around the kitchen table discussing everything we were witnessing. I won’t give you my uncles girl friends name. Let’s call her Nora. I remember sitting at the table while Nora was hysterical for her daughter lived and worked in the area of the Twin Towers. You could tell she was thinking the worse. That’s where I saw my opportunity to give her the Gospel in a way she had never heard. She was very stuck on her religion denomination to save her. I quickly dispensed that and got her to look at Jesus. My approach was we could n would pray for her daughter. I promised her that her day was ok Yet if she wasn’t she would tell you to listen to me. It’s the only thing in the spiritual realm where you would get the same answer from a loved one whether they were in Heaven or hell. I told her that GOD allowed things to happen so HE could get her attention. After 25 minutes she asked Christ to become her savior. Tears of joy flowed afterwards. Uncle A was very excited too. You always have to be ready to join GOD where ZHE shows us. If HE wouldn’t have spared us any bad things coming to pass The least I could do is look for those asking questions and give them the answer. CHRIST.
A few years later I think at least five years their security report came out and they believed that terrorist did Board our plane. I guess the limited surveillance at the time did pick up their behavior. No one was ever brought forth or arrested. They were likey back in the Middle East. So ya I was in even more danger than I thought. For all I know the moment we got air borne they would have taken the plane. Looking Back GOD was already warning us with my daughters thoughts yet was also keeping us safe.

BLIND SPOT
Several months ago I had written a post about the day I totaled my truck. Looking back I had lot of close calls in a vehicle. This is one of those times. It had only been a few months had past since I totaled out my truck. I had bought a car I’d rented after the crash. It was a sweet Oldsmobile two door. Not one built for speed but still got me where I wanted to fast enough.
i was working at Raddison Greens. It was my forth year there. Depending on the day and how much time I had, I’d use different ways to work. This day was on the weekend. Ya I got the weekend duty. I loved it though as no one ever bothered me. Actually it was an awesome job as I did what ever I wanted. My Super loved as much as I’d often cover for him when he was doing his thing. I had taken this route a few times this year. I’d come home this way almost every afternoon but go to work other ways. This morning was the day we changed the time. So even though it was the same time it wasn’t the same conditions. The road I was on the speed limit was 55 mph. Meaning as fast as you want as it was country and hardly ever see a police officer. THAT REMINDS ME I HAVE A POST TO FINISH. * I LIVE RIGHT THERE*. I was only five minutes into my drive going over the speed limit. I came up to a slow left curve in the road. I had just flipped the tape in the cassette player, when I looked up and because the change in time and just unbelievable unfortunate timing the sun was directly in my eyes. I couldn’t see anything. I only heard a horn and the next millisecond I saw a car coming at me. Actually I was right on the line and he was drifting to the center of the road. I quickly swerved right. Idk know how we didn’t hit head on. I heard a bang but cus of the curve and sun I didn’t see any damage. I stopped a few seconds later only to look in my side mirror to see my fender was hanging out the side of my car. It was pretty bad. The car was pretty messed up. I immediately thought of the other guy. I didn’t know if he went off the road and hit a tree or worse. I turned around after pushing the bumper in. I found him half mile down the road. His truck wasn’t to bad at all. But he was worried he hit my door not my trunk area. Which pretty much trashed that car too. Anyway he was just 18 and was way more shaken then me. We just left it as it was and went our separate ways. See both of us thought we may have killed EAXH other and thought our future was over. I went back to see where we hit this time the sun is no problem. We both were on the single white line when his fornt end hit my back. If I didn’t swerve we would have head on. I’m 85% sure it was me that turned the wheel. How far idk but pretty sure like in the country song JESUES TAKE THE WHEEL. He had FORSURE made me look up and well I’m here writing about it. Those days I was into both worlds leagle and well not so much. The Golf Course was my money I lived off of. I never bought something I couldn’t account for through work. However I wanted for very little. Sadly they were all the wrong things. If not for GOD stepping in I’m not here today.

INTERVENTION
I KNOW WHO YOU ARE PART #1
This took place real early in my involvement in Ministry. This narrative has a little of everything. It had my first demon encounter along with the first Angle’s I’ve seen. This took place at the Methodist Church where I was the Yourh Pastor and working for YFC. It was on a Saturday as that was the day we’d bring all the kids together and do sports. Now we made up a lot of crazy games like indoor soccer with a twist. We used a nuff football. If you know anything bout footballs they are not conducive to bouncing any way predictable. Other times we played four way soccer nearing at times we’d have two games going One N-S. The Other E-W. If that wasn’t enuff we’d play four way soccer where any goal could be used to score. Kick ball with deflated volleyball but the boys had to kick with their odd foot. Yet we did play volleyball dodgeball ect.
This was our biggest draw and was our best tool for evangelism. This is where I learned very much most of what I needed to start our own Ministry. I will share other times where GOD was teaching me. I made mistakes but learned from them.
It eas getting toward the time we would start taking the kids home. It would take two vehicles two hours to get everyone home. I was just finishing up confirming the salvations that took place and often I’d be ministering to one of our kids as many of them came from very broken families. We were rounding everyone up when Karen not yet my wife. We always were much better with teens than most youth pastors especially when they were married. I could show the boys there was much more to Love than their concept. It was also good for the girls to see what a single girl should be treated. Also because Karen and I dated 7 years and didn’t cross that line until we married we could speak from experience. She came to me and said there’s an elderly lady at the door and she’s very upset with her apartment. The Methodist Church had several small apartments on campus. So I being only two months there didn’t know everyone yet nor where the apartments were. So when i get to her she’s complaining about her place and wanted me to come and fix whatever it was she was upset about. As she lead me up the the service road to A1A that ran in front of the church. As we got to the street and turned the corner her whole demeanor changed from highly upset to extremely agitated. As we turn heading south literally just outside the shadow of the church she stops and allows me to walk by. When I hear her say curse that Jew boy. I turned and looked at her as I also looked toward the north where there was a traffic light. This was hundred yards away. I was trying to think why she would mention a Jewish person as our apartments were rented through the men’s group. Then as I pan back to look at her she says *curse the day the Jew boy was born* . Now I’m thinking it’s not us and she’s really really mad at her landlord. Until she says * curse the day that Jew boy died. That seriously got my attention as I look over her shoulder toward the light, I’m now thinking this is something different. I looked closely into her eyes and they were angry she was very agitated. Still thinking there’s no rational for her to be upst with someone who died. Then it happened she says looking straight at me *curse the day that Jew boy came back from the dead*. Now I know I’m about to face off with a demon which I’ve never remotely dealt with anything demonic. I did. have the run in with the two witches but they weren’t possessed at least at the time. So there I am looking into the eyes of a possessed lady. I take a step to walk around her and she steps over to cut me off. I began to feel the evil there. That’s when I started praying silently while I said to he.*I KNOW WHO YOU ARE*and I don’t fear you. All the time asking my LORD to help for at that second I was scared. Mine you this all happened faster then I can type one finger one letter at a time. It was only two or three minutes. She begins to talk at me trying to get me to panic I guess. At that exact second I tell her no I do know you and I’m not afraid. Yet there’s no way to get around her. I know if I can’t get by her this could become frightening. Remember I’ve never had to ask GOD to come get me out of a situation before. So I don’t know how HE will show up. She started to walk toward me and she began speak when……I will close here and return soon. If this narrative stopped here GOD had already had INTERVENED as I didn’t know to stand up to a demon muchnesses one speaking through possessed person and what that meant what that felt like. Yet I did I know now it was GOD speaking for me. Besides I promised you several things. I know if it was me cause of my retention span is minimal I’d be going back to see what was promised. SLIM
Much of our lives as young people. Notice I didn’t say young adults. As between 17-30 we don’t seem to be the adult anywhere much less in the room. We would ok I would do lot of things that seemed fun. At times I did things for the rush. So my priorities were a little off the center. There were very few times though I’d purposely put my life in another person especially when it came to being in a vehicle. If I did and had a close call I’d not put myself in that position. For clarity I would not put myself in harms way when we were drinking back in the day. The few times I did I learned real fast even when pretty much over the alcohol limit I’d remember. So for the most part even when I’d be drinking I’d drive.
When I graduate my dad had told me to get haircut before graduation. Now this was the late 70’s. If I didn’t no one would come to my graduation and I’d have to be out after I graduated that day. I wasn’t positive dad wouldn’t kick me out I was sure he nor mom would come. I had the second shortest hair in the school. But it was touching my neck and ears. Ya dad was old school. I talked to my cousin who had grandmas house the next house down if I could move in just in case. Graduation came when I got home my cloths were outside. So I packed up and moved hundred yards away. I had the whole house to myself so I took a few room mates. Ed and Chuck Aka Slim. Ed had a job at the local grocery store. Periodically Slim and I would stop by to see Ed. Then idk when exactly but after a few months of just hanging out with Ed. Slim decided on his own to come late and when Ed was gathering grocery carts he thought it would be fun to chase Ed around the parking lot. Idk seemed fun. No one got injured there.
So after while Ed just didn’t collect carts very much. So I figure that chapter is over what’s next. So Slim started this crazy thing he’d sit in the back with the lights off and wait till Ed would come to get into his car yep you guessed it another way to mess with Ed. Don’t feel bad for Ed he pulled his pranks also. That got boring when Ed parked right up next to the store. Ok so now this chapter of tag Ed was over. Hold on not so quick. Slim came up with a brilliant idea. Start from the back of the lot and peg his truck and head for the store and slam on the brakes and stop somewhere within ten feet from the paved area in front of the store. This went on with or without me. More without however this one night in the winter Slim and I were going over to chill with Ed on his break. There we are way in the back with lights off listening to the radio. Then I look over at Slim he had that look in his eyes ya that one that says get out of the truck. Before I could get that in my head he takes off. He tells me we are going to break the record for how fast we could go and try a stop. Simple if you’ve practiced I guess. This time though there was snow and ice. I’m not sure Slim put that in his calculations. But then again Slim was more of a try it and see what happens. Right now as we were going 50 mph a good ten miles per hour faster then I had been. So here we are heading for the front of the store. Now this store had a window where you could see out into the parking lot. I know I’m just along for the ride as Slim hits the brakes but we are on packed snow and ice so we are not stopping anytime quick.When I look at Slim who’s actually 6’2 and 330 pounds and his eyes are wide open. I’m thinking this isn’t going as he planned. We really weren’t slowing down. So I look up at the store and all the cashiers are running toward the back of the store when Slim hits the lights. If they were scared nuff to run. I’m thinking this may end badly. At this point we are 40 yards from the curve. From the curb to the window is six feet. Oddly when we are young death never enters the equation many times as we are doing something dumb. I’m thinking we are going to jail for-sure cus there no way we are not going to hit the curb. From there it’s places unknown. We hit the the curb and it didn’t stop us. Now the front of the truck is in the air.Now I’m sure we are going through the window. I still think we Are going to jail but first to the hospital. Idk how for there’s no earthly explanation for this physics and the math can’t calculate what happened. We literally came down inch’s from the window. Just one second ago I’m going at least 30mph. That said we didn’t hit anything. Reality hit and I told Slim we better get out here as I’m figuring the manger didn’t see the humor that Slim got out of it. He was actually laughing and began telling me it was his skills. We got out of there didn’t get arrested and were still alive. When I went back a few days later I looked at the construction of the front. It was reinforced cement blocks. I still think we’d gone through them and the glass. If we had it’s likely we’d been physically messed up if not dead. Either way I didn’t recognize GOD had stepped in again to spare me. Again idk why. I can only fall back to when GOD told me I’d be a pastor. As the word says few are chosen. Not sure what that means but seems GOD has plans for me. I’m not saying that we all have a calling. Most of us discover our way durning the journey. Till we end up where GOD uses us. Yet for me not that I’m special but had someone making sure I’d become that pastor he told me I would.This is the end of that debacle but as I look back today I give thanks That even in my times of stupidness He’s still watching over me. Even today in just last few days GOD still is working things out for my next assignment. It may be awhile before I return. Until then blessings as you’ve blest me me by dropping in. Thank You. BOYS N TOYS PART #1
Once again, I want to point out what you’re about to read has to do with my past life in the drug world. I don’t want anybody to think that because I am here today that God was ok with my lifestyle at the time. He wasn’t.
I don’t know if I told you how I was connected to the people in this world I was living in at the time. If not, that’s for another time. What was a fact that came out of these relationships what is that 95% of all the weed that came through Syracuse was ours. We ran Syracuse for five years I was in the circle. My main connection to this group of people was in Billy. Once I was able to get to him there was an exchange of each of our peeps. Actually mostly to the products they supplied.
Once we started working together, things just clicked. We were making lots of money. At the same time other people were making money off of what we do. Another words our connections are also in the money making business. It’s all bout balance. Everyone gets a little but less then they wanted. It’s called negotiations. Everything was going well until Bill’s friends from his school days entered the equation. See we only dealt in weed and some exotic things would cross our path. Nothing hard core through. That all changed when Billy brought Joey into the picture. Joey took another path. He was a cocaine cowboy. Joey wanted to hook up with us as we had the main line to the city. He was moving as much weight as we could take. When I heard bout it I said no. I didn’t want to deal with that. It draws way too much attention. Plus it’s seriously addicting where we were not selling anything additive. That causes huge problems for those at street level. Then it is only matter of time before it works its way up the latter. I was out voted. Billy saw more money. Don’t get me wrong. We were all into it to make money. However, I wasn’t looking to get rich, this was the first sign to me that Billy was into the money as much as he was into our product. Again don’t get me wrong. We were all into it to make money. Joey was the middle man between us and the suppliers. So now we are in the coke business. At first it went well. Kinda well I guess as I look at it now. There’s a Cardinal Rule in this world. Don’t get high on your own supply. With weed( Tree) we could burn as much as we wanted. It didn’t matter for that on my end was part of my business equation. Now with coke (Snow) that was a whole different animal entirely. At first I just used it as my recreation use. Eventually I turned few of my boys into It was all small potatoes we were getting a gram or less. However my boys turned others onto it. Then it took off. So I went from buying a 8 ball (1/8 of an ounce [oz] to now buying a whole oz to meet the supply. Ok so you see where this is going. Eventually I was now buy 1/4 Pound to meet the needs. I was now doing a gram a day. It was cutting into my profit. Here’s the thing with snow you really can only snort a gram or two a day. It will affect your nostrils and membranes. So it was possible for me to use and still make money just little less.
Fast forward two years. Now we are going through a kilo a week. This now got the attention of Joeys connection Dave and Crazy Tony. I didn’t know Billy took them in as partners. This is where things started going sideways. Two things happened simultaneously. Dave saw the potential of big money if he could get us to buy in. They introduced Billy to Freebase That’s when you cook the snow down and make it smokeable. This is one of the most dangerous times. Again the Cardinal Rule Billy was now breaking with tradition. Unknowing to me Dave had got Billy to chill with him and his crew. During that time he got Billy so hooked into Freebase. Here’s why it’s so dangerous. One yes just one hit from the pipe with Freebase you addicted. Seriously one hit and the euphoria that hits you within two seconds is like impossible to explain. Unfortunately Billy was now useless in business. All he wanted to do was get high. Now go back a few months. Billy brings Dave to my house. I gave Billy a key so he could do his business at my place. I come in and Dave is cooking/making Freebase. Remember I’m spending $150 a day on just raw snow. Billy tells me you have to try this. I do. Yep instantly I knew I was n Billy were in trouble. Dave stayed a day or so and we just partied. So here’s the thing with Freebase that’s dangerous to. It can be real expensive as you can easily smoke an 8 ball $250 in less then two hours. Now your doing the math. Ya it was going to be cutting into my Prophet Margen. I knew if I didn’t have access to something you can’t become long time addicted. I only saw Billy a few more times. What Dave did was get Billy so into it that Billy would burn through his coin. Then Billy started giving parts of the bizz and connections to Dave. Dave was going to try and have it all. Eventually Billy owed a lot of money to Dave. I knew none of this.
However the last time I saw Billy I had told him previously NEVER TURN MY WIFE ON TO THIS. Well I come home from work Billy’s there. I come into the living room just as Billy got done giving my x wife a hit. I saw it in her eyes. This would be something she would want to do daily. I told Billy to go. I’d only see him one more time.So now I’m dealing with Dave as he has Billy’s connections I’m the last one standing. He wanted to get to my boy in California to bypass me. To do that he often stoped by to take care of business but to keep me hitting on the pipe.
That was the intro to the story. It’s about to get real crazy for me. So I will end here and pick it up in a few days. As always you guys are awesome to keep coming back. INTERVENTION
PROSPER
One of the amazing things I got to do in the early 2000's was work inside the prison system to reach young men. I was part of a team of eight up to ten. We came from different types of Minstries,but we had one thing in common making a difference in their lives. Ron was the head of the Ministry. During the seven years we ministered together I had the opportunity to lead over 700 young men to Christ. There came a time when we had a chance to have our own team. I took it and ministered for another 5 years. During that time we reached 200 more. This was not prison as such it was a Boot Camp system where they could do time served and 3 months of the camp,so we saw a lot of young men during that time.
However in the mid 2000's the economy was not so good so they cut the program. I moved onto other things and saw that season close. Ron started going to another church.I didn't see him very much over the next 10 years. Recently I decided i had to start worshiping with other people. I knew his Pastor so i figured I would try his place New Dawn,they had slightly different beliefs and their purpose/ focus was different then mine. Yet we had pretty much the same theology.When I got there I found several others I knew that went with Ron and I to Haiti. The first Sunday when I saw Ron I had known he was back in the jails. As i stand at a table in the back I see Ron instantly I knew I was going back in the jail again.
I had been there at New Dawn for a few months when Ron walks back to my table and says I'm putting the band back together. I laughed and asked who have on the team. He says well there's you. Then he asked if I would be ok in the jail not Boot Camp. I had never spent much time in the real jail system with serious criminals right in the pod with us. I said I would come in with Ron. My friend is getting older and i noticed he was very unsteady. His mind and heart are so into this,I am humbled by such devotion.
I just got my clearance last month and started two weeks ago. I thought i would be going on Monday. After we were finished i had lead a young man to Christ, Ron asks me do you want to come with me on Wednesday evening to another pod. I said yes. They are entirely different groups as well as the setting. Wednesday will be a challenge for sure. It only took 10 minutes and U was talking to Dave and before we left he became GOD's child. So today we go in and I am looking to see who GOD wants me to speak to. I had a good idea who the man was, however he had not showed up. As i had a small dialogue with this guy so I walk over and ask him where the gentleman was. He told me he got shipped out to finish his time, he then tells me this is long term holding for those waiting to get their case finished. So at that moment I'm thinking that sad as I did not get a chance to speak with him,and now I need to find out what GOD shows me the person HE wanted me to talk to, when he tells me he may be gone by next week forsure the week after. Seems like i was talking to the guy GOD intended to talk to. That has happened many times before,but you do not know until you move to what is on your heart. The man that was put on my heart GOD put there as that was the only way HE could get me to the man HE had on HIS heart. Right away I tell him we need to talk.He asks if we could go now. So we go over to a quieter place and talk. My man's name is Prosper,pretty cool name. We do small yalk for a few.I find out he has two daughters. His oldest Prosperity is his youngest Serenity. At 1:06 pm Prosper becmes a Christian. So you can follow the dots and see how long GOD was working to get me to this man. You do need to be familiar with the voice and able to adjust on the run.
