You Have to Want it.

We hear the phrase "You have to want it" all the time about a lot of different things, but what does it even mean? Does it mean you need the desire to have something? What if your desire is for a thing not easily obtainable through normal(human) means(such as establishing a relationship with Jesus, obtaining the Holy Spirit, things like that)? How would you fulfill your desire to become closer to God? Or to discover what God's plan for your life is and act in accordance to that plan?

If you really wanted God to speak then you would hopefully choose number 2, because "You want that more" than other things.
