From Start to Finish
Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence? If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there! If I take the wings of the dawn, And settle in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there your hand will lead me, And your right hand will hold me. Psalms 139:7 WEB
Before we were born, God was already there for us (Psalm 139:13). Though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, He is still there (Psalm 23:4). When you feel all alone, God, through the presence of the Holy Spirit, is always there (Hebrews 13:5). When your soulmate has left you alone, He is the comforter and He holds the brokenhearted in His arms (Isaiah 40:11). When they have told you that you have stage four cancer, He is the Healer there to comfort and restore you (Isaiah 53:5).
When doors close and you are unemployed, He opens doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). When the bad news comes, He is able to make all things work together for good (Romans 8:28). Things that are impossible with man, become possible with God (Luke 18:27).
When they lock you away and throw away the key, He is with you in the prison cell (Genesis 39:23). When you know it to be wrong, but find yourself enslaved and doing it anyway, He understands and is there to help you (1 Corinthians 10:13). When you are laying on your death bed and about to take your last breath, He is there to take you by the hand and guide you to heaven (2 Corinthians 5:1). He is with us from the start, until the finish.
You will never be out of His reach, and He will never give up on you. No matter how much you stumble, get up and try it again. He loves you not because you are good, but because He is good. Don't wait until some point in the future to start getting to know God, for He is with you right now. When you choose to ignore Him, it is you that is missing out.Prayer: Heavenly Father, I choose You today! Walk with me, talk with me, and teach me more about You. Guide me into all that You have for me, for I am Yours. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
