    One of my absolute favorite Bible verses is, Proverbs 3.5 - 6 , " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding ; in all your ways acknowlege Him and He shall direct your paths." The Lord asks that we trust Him with our very life, with every aspect of our lives. He wants  to be involved in even the smallest details of our life. He wants us to acknowledge Him in all  we do and say. and to lean on Him. So many times we think we know how to handle a situation but often times we are wrong and things dont go the way we planned. Only God knows exactly what we need at every minute. He can bless you in so many ways that you cannot even begin to imagine. Give God your whole heart and keep Him in everything you do and you will see blessings upon blessing showered on you. God delights in us and wants to be part of our lives. Always consult God before you make a decision about anything He will direct your path and He will give you a clear answer to which way you should go. Father God I thank you for Refreshing Hope Ministries that you guided me to find. Bless Pastor Dion and Sylvia in all that they do. Bless everyone that is a part of Refreshing Hope Ministries and reveal yourself to them. In the name of Jesus I pray!

    Amen and Amen and Amen !!! What a timely message especially for me, Pastor Dion, thank you so much !!!  I used to work in a bank for almost 27 years, doing very well, including salary wise, etc... But then disease struck like a sludge hammer overseas, my Mom had Non-Hodgkins, Parkinson's and finally Parkinson's Dementia, all that in addition to respiratory problems, heart and blood pressure! My Dad was the primary caregiver, and there were all three of my siblings there as well. My sister has MS, and my brothers decided that my Mom should go into a home. I retired from the bank, so I'd have more time to spend overseas to help, etc... Going back and forth was a task, my family here understood that I was needed over there and supported me. My Dad had gotten Colo-Rectal cancer in the meanwhile ... My Mom passed away in the year 2013! My whole outlook had changed in the meantime, and all I can see is the Lord's hand in this directing my path. Obviously I did not return to the world of banking, which seemed foreign to me at that point. And I eventually ended up in the field of Home Health Care, which has become my mission. I can see how the Lord directs my path and leads me to all the right people, where I can be myself and work out my faith, so others can see Christ in me. It was and is a very humbling experience, but also so rewarding and fullfilling, and I know that this is where the Lord wants me to be!!! And all I want to be is in His will!!!
