Editing photo's

  • May 7, 2016

Good glorious morning Creation Photographers. I was just looking through the picture's I took yesterday and thinking; some of these are good enough to save but need a little editing to be great shots. That got me thinking about editing software. I have a passion for photography but not the pocket book I'd like to match;) My first choice of course would be to buy a quality editing software program but they tend to be pricey. My second choice of using free editing programs or software seems to be working out just fine though. My question is do you use free editing site or software? What is your favorite? Have you found one site better or easier to use than another? How would you rate free verses paid editing programs? Do you even believe in editing?

Below is a link I have found giving us 11 free and inexpensive choices to try out! Let me know what you think of them:) Thank you and God bless.

Great post, Dianna! We use Photoshop, which is something we've had for a long time. It used to be expensive, but it's gone to a $10/mo fee these days. I know that can add up and may not be worth it for fun, so it depends on your purposes. For simple edits, even something like PrintShop is fine. I believe we have used Pixlr in the past and it seemed good, though not as polished as Photoshop. I have never used Photoshop Express, but have heard some good things about it for basic editing. which may be fine for most purposes!

Look forward to hearing anyone else's thoughts!
